I think other states, including Texas, will be watching the Colorado situation very carefully. If society doesn't go to hell in a handbasket there (which I sincerely doubt it will), it will be hard to argue against the success of Colorado to block legalization in other states. If it doesn't work, expect the failure to basically end all talk of legalization for the forseeable future. This just may be the make-or-break moment.

If Texas would just decriminalize it, that would be a HUGE step. Quit the flooding of our jails & ruining peoples records with outrageous charges.

I'm always confusing Utah and Colorado as the same states. Or one of the other, heck I'm high right now!!!

I enjoy pot, I despise "stoners".

Why is anyone not living in Colorado really geeked about this? Road trips for weed? If you can't find good smoke locally you're doing something wrong.

    I'm assuming because:
    1) It's an intoxicant that impairs your perception.
    2) It's harder to determine if someone is DUI as a police officer.
    3) It's a waste of money.
    4) It's also a Gateway to harder drugs and weapons.

I disagree with the guy you quoted. I dislike stoners because so many:

    1) Have horrible priorities
    2) Have a lack of motivation
    3) Don't use it responsibly
    4) Are thieves
    5) Are NOT trustworthy

The good places test their stuff for chemicals, cannabinoid content, terpene composition..

This is a regulated system, man.

Everything in life can be addictive. Twinkies, pizza, watching basketball, video games, sleeping too much, etc.. The only difference between these things and THC is that THC actually has proven benefits.

I have a trip lined up to Denver in a few months (nothing to do with this), but now that it's legal there, hey why not? Are residents of other states who are there visiting prohibited from purchasing recreational mar1juana?

I've visited cali and colorado.. not Washington yet.

When you buy there should be a label on the jar showing you basic stats of THC% CBD% CBN%. You can ask the budtender for more info and he can probably pull out the whole analysis for you to see.

I love cannabis that's why I know so much
