When looking up KNDI on yahoo profile it shows the headquarters are in China. I meant it sarcastically, because most companies that are based in china and trade on the exchanges are easily manipulated. (ie CCME) Anyhow, I know this company is legit.
o yea i know what you mean now.. china tech bubble pump and dumps.. KNDI isn't one of those for sure though.. a lot of us are keen about it, it seems.
^i know! I picked up a chunk in the 8.50s a month or so ago and this thing wont stop. I'm not a big believer in the google glass but I've learned you don't have to believe in something to make money on it.
I went into the weekly pcln 1155calls for $8.50 an hour before close. I was thinking they double by frieday. we will see.
apple got downgraded by wfc going margin concerns. still maintain 536-581 price target which strangely enough has been the trading range of it
I guess that's what you would say happens when a stock is downgraded from outperform to market perform.
Mutual Funds I'm looking to start the new year by putting some of my savings into Mutual Funds. Can you guys recommend a handful for me to research? I am gravitating towards the standard index funds (S&P 500, and etc) but then again I don't really know what to make of the other mutual funds. Thanks!
The only good reason these days to do mutual funds is if you want an actively managed portfolio, or you want something that self-adjusts so you don't have to worry about it (a targetted retirement fund). Otherwise, if you're just looking at a mutual fund that tracks the S&P 500 (or whatever other index), an ETF is generally the easier way to go.
I'm now thinking that the spx goes to 1770-1790 or eventually 1760 but I'm not talking tomorrow or next week. I'm talking over time. it could also go higher before doing this.
Thanks Da1, I bought into VFINX this morning. I'll do some research on QQQ. A friend of mine recommended diversifying funds between Small, Mid and International Cap in order to have the best asset allocation percentage. A common pitfall is having a mish mash of funds that aren't diversified and too conservative with Large cap companies with small growth rates.
I bought HIMX, TNXP and TSLA based on some feedback on here. All three are doing really well for me. What is the long term 2-3 years outlook for these?
I picked up my first penny stock just now . FITX for $0.0112 It was a whole penny! Its a medicinal mar1juana grower in Canada. See where my $1000 investment goes. ha ha This is even more exciting then watching my option trades.
