FWIW, on that particular play, it's not a bad decision because it was 3rd down and it basically serves a punt if it gets intercepted (and they would have been out of field goal range if he was sacked anyway).

The problem I have with Manziel is.

    - height (Russell Wilson and Drew Brees are the exception not the rule)
    - arm strength (not a huge deal for me but watching Schaub has made me rethink this)
    - has never taken a snap under center (kind of a big deal considering O'Brien runs a pro set)
    - off the field issues (I don't think I have to expand on this)
    - running QBs don't last in the NFL (This has me the most concern if we were to draft Manziel)

The reason I love Manziel's game is the same reason I consider him a risk as an NFL QB. He is so competitive that I have doubts he will slide choosing instead to risk his body for the play. And he doesn't have the Physique to absorb such beatings for very long in the NFL. I would stay away from QB with the top pick given the crop in this years draft. With that said, if I did go with a QB, it would probably be Manziel.

Calm down, quit talking smack, act like an adult, and people might actually pay attention to you. I've gone on record saying the Texans should draft Bridgewater over Manziel, but that I doubt either can stay healthy. I just posted the link, because it's a very cool play.

yes lets compare an all star who can make deep accurate passes to somebody who hasnt shown the consistently to hit a 20 yard crisp pass

I don't think Manziel's accuracy is an issue. At least in the games I've seen, he has great arm strength and precision accuracy - much improved over last year.

But why? What does he do better than Bridgewater that translates to the Nfl? Bridgewater has better accuracy, arm strength, pocket presence and quicker release. I not understanding why you guys like manziel but dislike Bridgewater.

so you think he's the next aaron rodgers?

his strong suit isnt his arm strength, its his ability to extend plays and scramble. For every article you find praising his arm strength, there are equally as many claiming its just average.

You don't have a clue, if you actually watched any games this year you'd see he lobs it up for jump balls way too much, and gets away with it because he has the best WR in the country this year

You don't have a clue if you disagree with me. I am rarely wrong.

Rodgers ability to throw on rollouts is legendary. Look at the play that beat Chicago. Buying time to throw is an exceptional skill.

Mike Evans isn't Randy Moss, those jump balls have to be precise or the ball will be picked off underneath or over the top.

Manziel holds on to the ball way to long. Pass.

Let's not forget that Aaron Rogers was an understudy to a HOF qb for 3 years. No one knows if he would've been this good had he started from day 1.

I think y'all know how I feel about Manziel, so don't get me wrong, but I just wanted to say - don't put too much into the Duke game. I feel like his stock, or hype rather, is surging after that performance. Sometimes good games don't mean **** when it comes to the NFL. *Jamarcus Russell.

His competitiveness though, that's been a constant his entire career. And that's huge. But holding onto the ball too long, that's also followed him his entire career. I can give him credit though and say he's getting the most out a great offensive line, for all I know he is capable of releasing the ball in 2-3 second windows. But we'll see.

Please troll .. first off the article you linked was before a 2013 game was even played . His passing game has improved a great deal .. 2nd I never said a word about anyone being the next Aaron Rodgers . I was talking about your ridiculous statement about not being able to throw 20 yard passes .

3rd wtf are you talking about "gets away with it " when you throw up to a guy that's a foot taller then the d-back it's by design .

2:29 lobs it up, thanks for proving my point. Also 70% of his highlight reels are running clips because thats what he excels in. He gets away with it just like Case Keenum did playing for Sumlin. The guy can design an offense but do you really think a guy who has maybe never taken a snap under center can make the reads, passes without being beat up by bigger, more athletic defenses?

Why u so mad about everything im saying lol, it's like you are taking offense to all of the truths ive been saying.
