Agree. And Bird just passed to the next open man if he himself is not open. They won by team ball. How is it that McHale hasn't seen that having Harden play hero balls at 4th qtr is not going to win too many games, not to say playoff and seriously not in championship.

That's bull Dwight has been battling in the post all season. His aggression gets open shots for the guards and Parsons. He is an MVP candidate. Duncan is soft it's Tiago Splitter that does all the fighting for him. People think Duncan has declined because of age Duncan has declined because he's soft.

I don't agree. Lin needs to take more shots but Lin is a solid passer that can elevate T Jones and build a strong chemistry with Dwight and progressively become a force with Dwight. I think Bev/Brooks should lead the second unit. I think with Lin showing he can play strong defense on really good guards that his passing and court vision provides the strongest starting unit.

Even though I don't love Parsons, you can't blame Parsons for missing shots, as long as he was open when he took the shots. You gotta keep taking shots if you are a shooter. It's not passing to open teammates that is not acceptable. LeBron would have passed and got good shots for his teammates.

missed the game, what is Morey referring to here?

The Kings set LOTS of screens away from the ball.... The Rockets are awful at defending this type of offense because the Rockets don't even practice setting screens away from the ball.......

If you don't practice a specific style of play on offense, it's difficult to defend that style of play when the other team runs it.

Lin was one of the more efficient players tonight. If you expect him to get to the line more, he needs the ball more, which means less Harden.

that's why you need to understand the game of basketball. while Dwight is "battling" in the post, Duncan is securing a passing lane for his guards instead of making his guards find a way to pass the ball to him. it's both the post guy and the entry pass guy.

and you call Duncan soft when he's got more awards both individually and as a team than howard has or probably will ever get. Duncan is one of the best PF that has ever played the game.

Don't disrespect Duncan like that. Dwight will be lucky if he gets good enough to hold his jock strap by the time he retires.;)

Its a damn shame how bad our bench has become. The only man that can score seems to be Brooks and that is off and on some nights. Casspi and Garcia have been totally garbage the past weeks and it puts so much pressure on our starters to score. The Patrick Beverley injury has messed up our whole rotation and moving Lin to the starting role has hurt our bench scoring.

The best PF ever and not really up for debate. Karl Malone was the regular season king and was a lot worse in the playoffs(same for KG). Dirk, Barkley and KG don't measure up in terms of accolades.

Parsons just called out Harden for being selfish.

Terrible defense and turnovers by certain players in the first half which is why we were down

I just think of being "out coached" as an in game thing. McHale didn't call a play, but he rarely calls plays and does talk about ball movement and "sticky" ball a lot. Given that the only way McHale can discipline Harden is minutes reduction, I don't think he considers benching Harden with 1:20s to go to be a reasonable option.

Now, in terms of out of game coaching, yes, he needs to get Harden under control. By the time Harden goes full Bonehead it's usually way too late, especially since the team was almost out of time outs.

Personally I think those ISO's are more of a basic BBIQ and ego issue. We've seen Harden not ISO before, so it's not like McHale is telling him to ISO as a game plan. I just think Harden thinks he can do pretty much anything he wants... which may be true. Morey fires McHale long before he trades Harden.

That's the problem with max players... if they're not 100% on board with the coach, the coach is pretty much out of tools to discipline the player effectively.

    Just file it under semantics.

An ass dropped in the 1st half is just as important as one dropped in the 2nd half

Funny thing is the starting unit is doing great with Lin too. We do really need more depth, Morey please make something happen. Trade Casspi/Cisco
