But if you don't put the D in Harden you're a LOF.

Seriously we don't even know whether Harden's defense is bad, because he doesn't play it.

brewer must be beyond horrible if he can't even see the floor right now. it's a shame, i remember him being really good defensively when he was on the jazz and bulls

Parsons and Harden is a revolving door on defense.

He's a decent 1-on-1 defender when he tries. But I have never seen him shut down shooters who like to run around - the Reggie Miller, JJ Redick types. McLemore and Thornton fit that mold.

I just chimed in. After last couple of games I didn't like the team's play and knew they were going to play in a manner that would piss me off.

This team needs to take care of the Asik situation ASAP.

If McHale can't change Harden's defense , The team should change coaches

The DR3AM... replace luck with effort. You just sound butthurt with that comment, like you're mad if someone says Lin is playing well on the defensive end.

They need a wing guy who is a defensive Stopper. LIke Thefalosha type, or Tony Allen type for sure. We can't guard the SFs or SGs that get hot

So don't make Harden accountable for his porous defense?

IT made 5/7 of his shots in the paint when they first played. I know the game isn't over, but why is he now missing in the paint now?

how long has the nba.com/stats thing been going on? It's dope that you can finally watch every shot that any player takes or makes. Just found out about it recently lol

Having depth would help significantly. We need top play the bench if the starters are tired. That's why the Spurs are deadly. They have depth.

When the KNicks were gelling during linsanity, you had 5 guys on the bench that could pick up the slack.
Jeffries, Novak, Smith, Baron Davs(who was past his prime), and Landry Fields/SHumpert. They showed their strength of play against Cleveland and the Mavericks when the starters were cold.

It was only one game so hard to know for sure.

However, you could argue that we have improved team defense as the team works on their rotations. Also, Lin missed that game due to back spasms.

    Could be either, or both.

I guess he's been exhausted defending big booties in celebrating new year.
