And I suppose you think society should conform to your limited view of what society should be. There are tons of examples where a dual parent home with good Christian values succeed and there are tons of examples where those families are dysfunctional. The same formula does not work for every child and every family. To think it does and to think that a single parent home can not be happy, healthy and well adjusted is Neanderthal thinking. There are lots of people that grow up happy, successful and with memories of a great childhood in a home with only one biological parent. In case you need an example of someone that grew up in a broken home I offer you The President of the United States, Barrack Obama. He seems to have grown up fairly successfully and fairly we'll adjusted.

There is nothing to prevent DWade from being involved with his child. By all accounts he will be an outstanding provider and provide tons of cherished memories with his child. Neither of my kids were planned but certainly did not prevent me from being a great parent. When I reached a point in my life where I did not want anymore kids I had the surgery. Perhaps DWade would love to have a couple of more kids yet. Neither of us know what he wants.
You can be a great parent if you are a good provider and you are involved in there life regardless if your home of address matches your kids. Don't limit your thinking to so few possibilities.
And somehow you think children who live in a single parent home is doomed to that murky future? Your smarter than that.
The biggest shocker in that story was that she got knocked up by Damon Wayans and Dwyane Wade. Who's next - Dude Wah?
There are tons of good families that are not necessarily Christian, that just happens to be my background though it wasn't my parents or my wife's parents. I certainly believe that a biblical foundation helps ALOT but that doesn't mean I'm telling you to do it my "limited view" way. Both of our parents were not Christian per definition being children of the 60's/70's and we love them anyways. Both of us had parents that created disfunctional households (many nights up as a child seeing things I shouldn't have seen) and still I'm glad they stayed together. Both of our parents also stayed married throughout all the crap that went on (and there was alot) and my parents stayed married almost 50 years. My mom severely misses my dad now and so do all their children. My wife's parents are also still married for 40+ and going strong, supporting each other in their elderly years. Saying that you can be a successful individual without both parents around in a family unit is like saying you can live through life with just one hand and still have great success. It's true, but I would rather still have both hands. And I would rather have a gimped hand than no hand at all. I happen to know some people that grew up with just one parent (all men, no women) and every single one of them rues they didn't have a real father present in their life and, even into adulthood, look for that father figure. BTW, Obama suffered from alot of issues growing up, he will be the first one to admit he wishes his dad had been around. Read his book he wrote when he was a senator. You are not a good father if you give some woman your seed that will raise your child without your values, just your cash and whatever weekend visitation rights you receive. If that's a girl, do you think he would want the girl to be like the mother was? Or a boy, without a father to show him the way? What if it's another guy that abuses that child?. For every Obama there are many more man incarcerated that grew up without a father (or sometimes even a worse father than their biological one), look up the statistics. I simply want all my children living and learning from both my wife and I, not some person that will have different values from us. That's why they are OUR children and not some other woman and mine.
I was just making a point about his comment in bold. I'm not trying to say that's their future. They're all examples of how people stop caring about preventing things simply because they are so common. If we stop thinking and analyzing them, then we can't help make them less common. I think it's safe to say we can all agree a happy two parent household is the best scenario for a child. We should strive for that from the beginning, although it may not always work out.
Funny..when Tom Brady did it...nobody said a word...in fact, people still don't know he knocked up Bridget Monahan...and then left her while pregnant for Giselle...but when an NBA ball player does it....its a problem....hmmm? I wonder why that is?

GTFO with that terrible attempt to compare those two situations. Brady dated the woman he knocked up, for THREE years. He broke up with her and when he began dating Gisele, Bridget Moynahan then informed him that she was carrying his child. Pretty sure that doesn't compare to an NBA player that crows about his being a great father and acts like he is a classy dude, cheating on his gf with a jumpoff and having a child with said jumpoff, THEN lying to the public and telling the public that it happened while he and the gf were on a break. Nice try dude.
I think it is debatable as to who is uglier. The real babymama or Gabby U. Gabby is obvy beautiful but I don't think the babymama is a slouch either.
In Wade's defense, they really were on a break earlier this year. I remember watching him on late night and he said it. Not sure what kind of break it was though or if the dates match up.
I don't follow celebrity gossip too much, but I always thought that the story was that Brady essentially dumped Bridget Moynahan while she was pregnant with his child and started dating Gisele. If that's true that's pretty low.
He broke up with Moynahan, got with Gisele then Moynahan told him and the American public that she was having his child.
