If you watched that O'Brien QB video, he stressed the importance of having an intelligent QB. I'd like to see how the prospects rank against each other in that important dimension.

Sack numbers don't matter in college. Stats don't matter in college. Selvie had like 100 once.

Trade our top 2 picks for 2014 for 2015 first rounders, play Keenum, use your 3 #1's in 2015 to draft to draft Winston .... profit for a decade (the NBA way!)

Haha just trying to add a little gas on the fire, couldn't care less who we draft since I have no power over the situation.

Would not be surprised one bit if this were to happen. No great QB in draft to take #1 overall. There are good ones for sure(Teddy, Manziel) but I see us riding with Keenum or trading for a QB.

    Jacksonville Newspaper

Looks like Jax will be in the market for a QB at the top of the draft.

Exactly, everyone praised Keenum for his arm strength and mobilty after the first game and then crucified him as he digressed under Kubiaks desire to play Schaub and mindgames. If O'B gets the job and is the offensive guy we hope for then there is a good chance he makes Case viable option.

Don't think he meant it as a viable option...more so case would mean we'd tank the 2014 season....for next years draft.

Yeah im sure a new head coach would be good with tanking his first season.

    You have an imaginative vision.

I'd say it's almost 100% that we dont ride with Keenum...and that we dont trade for a QB.

Outside of drafting a QB...the only other scenario I see is signing Cutler to a deal, which I put at 5%.

Agreed. Wouldn't signing Cutler would put us in trouble with the cap, vs. a rookie contract?

Yeah, puts us in a bind. More likely O'Brien comes in and likes someone off our radar. Cassel or Sanchez or Fitzpatrick or something. I'm serious.

If during the interview O'Brien mentioned he wanted to bring in Cassel, Sanchez, or Fitzpatrick I think McNair's reaction would be the below.

If Matt McGloin is available, I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a Texan.
