Yes... but usually it was the second game of a back to back against a tough opponent on the road the previous night. Or something like playing 4 games in 5 days. There are really no excuses with this stretch of games. They will have plenty of rest, only play 1 back to back against sub-par opponents, and play no good teams during this span. There is really no reason why they shouldn't win every game. The last time they had a stretch like this, they went 8-1, with the only loss coming to the Mavs.. who always play the Rockets tough.
Don't see a win streak happening. Think we've already been beat by Kings and Lakers. So I can't easily assume we'd win any of these games. Sux but true given how inconsistent Rox are.
I think the Rockets should be able to win all of these games. As long as they stay healthy! Hopefully Asik will come back and that will help even more. Plus we have to start building his value back up so we can trade him!
I am confused where your confidence comes from ? We don't have any significant advantage playing with those weak teams...
Hey, careful! Schedule ain't that easy at all! After the next 3 "easy" home games (one of which I fear we may lose, but not the LAL game! ) we have 4 tough away-games in 6 days, with the Hawks, Wizards, Celtics & Pelicans, followed B2B by the manacing home game with the Thunder! This 5 in 7 sequence (Jan 11-17) is murderous. I hope we take 3 of those 5, including a small payback to OKC. I say we may lose to WAS and NOP and win the other 3. Don't get too cozy
Rockets are 7-2 in the second game of back to backs. The only losses were to Dallas and OKC. So back to backs really haven't been a big deal this year. And during this 7 game stretch, only 1 of those teams has a winning record... the 17-14 Hawks.
Yes, but the Pelicans just took Portland, Wizards won 5 of last 6, and we already lost to SAC and LAL... Just saying... We need to be sharp.
I am somewhat worried about the Kings. They did beat us and the heats. They got close against the Spurs. I just hope we are all fired up for this game after the Thunder flogging. If we beat the Kings comprehensively I can see a winning streak coming up.
Agree. I am not sure about all wins, but I would not be surprised with only a loss or two. But please, let them not lose to the Lakers.
