Where's the place to be in Houston? Or better yet, where's the place to be in Houston that won't charge a $20 cover haha.
$20? How about $375 to party at Applebees? http://nypost.com/2013/12/30/celebrate-new-years-at-applebees-for-375-per-person/

not my preference, but all my friends are going to Hugh's Hangar. I guess the party is going down there.
For $375 at Applebees... by party favors galore they had better be talking about endless weed, cocaine and molly, by fairly sophisticated culinary people it had better be Giada cooking. Nekkid. I do like how Patron is in plural format though as in endless bottles.
Damn. I'm playing a gig at the Petroleum Club and that makes the $125/person for my party seem like a real bargain.
It's SwoLy-D. How can anyone on this forum expect to communicate when no one pays proper attention to an individual's name?
Dinner at Uchi but not sure what to do after. Clubs are pretty weak on NYE in Houston. I don't mind the ticket prices bc it's usually open bar (top shelf) but the crowds are so spread out that there really isn't too much energy. $20 cover on NYE? You're not going to the right places. Tickets range from $50-$150.
Pretty much any organized party at a bar or club is going to cost you AT LEAST $20. Most restaurants, on mid to higher end, are going to be a set menu at a flat rate. NYE for me is best done with your own party. Much safer at home, much cheaper, don't have to be around club bros, can get more wasted.
My couch after an early dinner with friends at Churrascos and the local beer pub for the Aggie game. Champagne, Lagunitas Lil Sumpin, some Bulleit and a couple bowls. You're not invited.
open bar means they buy the cheapest crap they can. I went to NYE in vegas and bought some tix to a party at one of the big hotels and man was I disappointed.
