Everybody's after Bill O'Brien, but the perfect place for him is in Detroit

No, I don't advocate hiring Bob Stoops.

Pats only have him under contract for one more year. If he were offered a starting job somewhere else, he'd bolt. The Pats would be wise to look at trade offers if anybody wants him now.

Coaches regularly leave after saying just a few days earlier that they are committed to staying, etc. It doesn't seem right, but it's pretty standard operating procedure. Nick Saban, I believe, has done it multiple times.

If you guys were pissed that Schaub was slow, you'll love Mallett. IIRC, his 40 time was something like 5.37. Half the o line would run faster than him.

Also Google his pre draft interview at Carolina. He checked into the hotel, had dinner with coaches, and then went and got so drunk that he had to call off his visit to the facilities the next morning because he was "sick". That is a massive red flag to me. Really poor judgement/impulse control is the last thing you want for the face of your franchise.

He has a huge arm, but he's essentially an unathletic/less talented Jamarcus Russell.

I'm uncomfortable with the fact that Wade and the staff are apparently still employed. What are they waiting for?

New coach to bring in his own staff and keep who he wants.

    Good news for non-Lovie fans:

I think I'd be fine with Lovie to TB, Schiano to PSU, and O'Brien to HOU (with Munch staying in TEN).

Awesome. This is why firing Kubiak early and getting a head start on finding a coach has paid off. One of the few good decisions McNair has made.
