First if Bridgewater is as bad as some of you guys think who would be stupid enough to give up anything for him. Second if Bridgewater is not the best in the group why would anyone want him above any of the other QBs that you say may be better. Third someone like Josh McCown would be a great backup but he wants to play and not groom some other QB. It's his last swan song. He will not come here is we draft Bridgewater. Fourth Bridgewater is no senior. There will be no senior bowl for him. Yesterday was his senior bowl.

Finally Bridgewater is better than 70% of the NFL QB's right now. Turn your TV on and watch some football. I am watching KC vs the Chargers and Rivers tossed a shuffle pass that looked weak. I have seen Bridgewater make that shuffle pass 3 times, all 3 better than Rivers.

I have no ties to Bridgewater... I only giving my unbiased opinion. I am the first to point out he has accuracy problems throwing the long ball. But it's not like he doesn't complete long passes. He has completed more than his fair share. It's just his accuracy drops off some but NEWSFLASH: so does every QB. It's not like the longer you throw the ball the more accurate you are. No one has that inverted stat. Yes his might be a little more than Winston but he completes those passes too. And he does not have the athletic 6'5" recievers that Winston or Manziel has.

Watch more video of Bridgewater and watch video of some of the QB's you want in the NFL. Cousins, Cutler throwup vomit. Teddy Bridgewater will pass them up by opening day. Fortunately Obrien is smarter than you and me and I am sure he will not be stupid enough to trade down for another linebacker and a 2nd round QB. I will bet money that he will not do that.

You have no idea what you're talking about. Rivers is top 5 in terms of NFL qb rating this year. Bridgewater is nowhere near as good as Rivers, I don't care if you've seen him make a freaking shuffle pass 3 times (what a joke of a metric).

It makes me happy that you will have to watch Bridgewater for the next 10+ years. (assuming that you actually watch the games.. which is VERY debatable given your comment/troll history)

    Hate HATE HAte haTE!!!!

    ?

I don't dislike the guy, I'm just not yet sold on him as a #1 pick.

You're still trying to dig out of the shaming I put on you yesterday. Keep trying.

He did not struggle against UH. People keep saying that and it's regurgitated BS. He took what they gave him. UH put all of their emphasis on stopping the pass and Bridgewater read the open pockets and chose the rush. He took what the defense was giving. Brown, an average back at best rushed for 137 yards that game.

Teddy was under pressure the whole game, his reciever dropped passes and yet he did not throw an interception and took what the defense gave him. Watch the game. Yeah he only threw 19-29 but watch the game. Only 2 of his passes were not catchable. Some of them were just straight out drops. 1 was tipped at the line and another he deliberately threw out of bounds as the half ended. Only two were bad passes.

That game is more of why you draft Bridgewater and not why you don't. People see Winston beat Miami and goes 21-29 throws 2 interceptions against an average defense with superior recievers and his running backs rush for 192 yards and bail him out and he jumps to the front of the Heisman race. Bridgewater plays much smarter against a much better defense and people say he looks bad. Watch the game.

I get it Bridgewater is not as flambouyant as Winston or pretty as mariota or as white as Luck. So people have to talk about his size or his hands or his skinny legs. But Bridgewater doesn't care he just produces. He is the best college QB right now and it's not even that close. Yeah Winston is stronger and bigger and younger and has a slightly stronger. But he is not smarter or better and doesn't have the heart of Bridgewater.

You suffer from stupidity and your reading comprehension sucks too. I didn't say he was better than Rivers. I said his shuffle pass was better than the one I saw Rivers throw. Try breathing and rereading before you hyperventilate and type.

Jags absolutely would trade up for him. Not only is he likely to be the top rated QB heading into the draft, but he's a FL native. He'd be a big draw.

You do know it's a human fact that our bodies naturally fill out as we get older right?

That's not including the diet and workout regimen he will continuously be on throughout his career.

Relax with the weight issue, he'll be fine.

BTW, Drew Brees is only 13 pounds heavier at 209lbs. Russell Wilson, 206. How are they doing?

This is the worst football analysis I've ever read. Seriously, man, you just don't know the game.

"UH put everything they had against the pass"? UH has a good pass defense. Do you seriously think other teams didn't try to stop Bridgewater from passing? UH was one of the best pass defenses Teddy faced, and he struggled. That's fact. They nearly lost the game, and UH wasn't exactly a top 25 program.

Bottom line is that we don't know how good Teddy is since the schedule he faced was so weak. We do know that he struggled against a good defense with UH, and he lost his only matchup vs. a top 25 program (UCF).

Seriously, watching you guys and Texxx reminds me of this:

Don't give into the dark side. Disengage. I'm pretty sure everybody already reads Texxx's posts with a contextual understanding of who he is.

If we trade down, we'd likely get a lot in return...for example, trading with the Browns (which could be a very likely scenario). We could end up with their 2 first round picks, Pick #5 and #24, as well as their 2nd round pick and maybe next year's 3rd round pick.

That means, over the first 2 rounds, we'd have pick #5, #24, #33, and #37.

You dont need to wait until the 2nd round to pick a QB...if O'Brien believes that someone like Manziel can be just as successful as Bridgewater (not saying this is the case), then the Texans would be stupid to not jump on the opportunity to pick up these extra picks. You could very easily haul in 4 new starters.

I agree...I was just referring to national rankings on defense.
