NOP don't guard 3pt shooting very hard.
The paint is too crowd for Lin/Harden to penetrate.

 

We need your moniker back on the team, simple as that.

We can't hit a 3 to save our life, and we need a guy to get some easy buckets.

We're playing sloppy and relying on the 3ball. It's not falling.

Dwight keeps getting stupid fouls, but the team isn't getting him the ball in the right spots.

TJ is hustling.

I hope our threes fall tomorrow. Because if they don't, we will get embarrassed, Westbrook or not. Maybe Garcia left his three in OKC?

 

frustrating because rockets starters are so much better than pelicans and there should be no way dwight doesn't have 25 or 30 pts and by now we should be in garbage time with the game well in hand.

Garcia has hurt the team by being a complete negative out there most games. I'd rather they play Brewer at this point, Garcia is not giving them anything and is useless without his shot.

 

It's tied at 78 9 minutes left and Rockets once again playing down to the level of opponent. Garcia is garbage once again and Harden can't hit anything he looks tired. Howard doing well but only Rocket doing well. Andersen and Evans playing well for Pelicans.

 

Lin outplaying most improved player Jrue Holiday! LOL

 

I guess great may be too much, but in comparison to other guys, he's a good on the ball defender. I think he's probably rusty for lack of playing time, but in the past when he's gotten regular minutes, he's a very capable defender.

His jumper needs a lot of work though. It's like a hitch and sideways-lean...ugly.

that coach of the Hornets/ pelicans always makes it tough on Lin. no surprise here really. Lin'd D is pretty decent. His offense is not there tonight.

 

Time to hit 3 FTs.

 

How often does he go off? Some games he does. He's a PG and it looks for sure he was looking to get assists tonight and not turn the ball over and that's what he has to a point. AB is a better shooter but not close to the finisher at the rim Lin is. AB puts up a lot of circus shots and has his off shooting days as well.

Defenders don't leave Lin open because you can miss a bunch of shots and then get hot, and they don't want that happening with Lin.
