DaDakota with the truth, btw. The worst thing you could do is not get her because you didn't try. Just let her know your feelings and that you want her to move at her speed if she's interested. Not every person is the same after a situation like this. I ended up marrying the first girl I approached after my ex left me (even if it took a couple months for her to feel that way about me, she was recently split from her ex as well) and we've had the most amazing relationship from day 1 (well, really about day 17, but who's counting?).

My wife and I have the exact same situation. I met her about 2-3 weeks after my ex-wife and I split and she had also recently gotten out of a 7-8 year relationship. We have been awesome since day one and 9 years later we are still insanely happy. I never knew that being in a relationship could be this good.
