Usually schadenfreude not my preferred mode. But with these teams, there is satisfaction in seeing them fail because they have shown that more than money is needed to put together a good team.
Knicks need to start winning. I don't want to see Denver with one of Jabari, Wiggins, Ebild (sp?), or Randle
Rockets have their unprotected 2nd rounder for 2014 and 2015, which Morey stole after trading Marcus Camby to them. Knicks losing is good for the Rockets. A high 2nd rounder is ridiculously valuable for a team like ours.
Don't worry, Nets or Knicks will get into the playoffs. No way Toronto and Boston would choose first round exit over a chance at Wiggins or Jabari.
Nets and Knicks also have to MAKE playoffs. They have no draft picks, the 2014 lottery, or any future lottery for that matter, is meaningless to them. Unless...they decide to trade their franchise players for picks and player-assets.
Easier said than done. The sad reality is that only one has a chance to make it to the playoffs... unless the Knicks or Nets magically get their act together. So, either Nets pick to Atlanta or Knicks pick to Denver will get the better pick.
I had never read an article from Woj before this.. I had only trusted him on trade discussions. He is a terrible writer. This garbage reminds me of what I produced as the high school newspaper editor. What is this garbage?
I didn't like how Kidd did Lawrence Frank. Why completely throw someone on your own staff under the bus? Especially against the wishes of the other guys on your staff?
