What model of "Canon Rebel"? And... you're going to take black-and-white photos? You know, you didn't need a "bad ass camera" for that. There are possibly a bunch of landmarks around the museum district and a bunch of fountains and sculptures along Allen Parkway/Memorial Drive.
^ Yes. It's called Texas A&M Park and it's in the shape of an arrow. They make very good scenery for photographs.
Hey NateNate... sorry I haven't been back here in a minute, but I'd have to share only my shots which aren't great (I'm not a pro!). The Mrs. has some great stuff of the Menil/St. Thomas/Glenwood but being such a stickler about her images, she'd wantto put some sort of protection on them... I'll ask her and keep you posted. Message me through the board if I forget...
