I hope Westbrook doesn't become another Brandon Roy.

Roy would be the best sg in the league if healthy today.

Thanks for the friendly reminder to pick up Reggie on my fantasy team.

Exactly. If I'm the thunder management I would consider shutting him down for the season.

I really want to know what kinds of leagues you guys are in where Reggie is still available.

Durant to Houston next! I kid. Surprising news but oh well, Rockets had injury problems forever. I do hope Westbrook well though. Sad to hear about players getting injured or missing long amounts of time.

In retrospect, I'm thankful that the Rockets let Jeremy ease back into it last season. I have always wondered why it took Jeremy half a season to return to shape, and Westbrook could play like he didn't miss a beat. Now I can see that it was a blessing in disguise.

He also intentionally injured Tyreke Evans, according to some idiots.

    It's actually this CFans league:

    http://www.fanstarproleagues.com/basketball/bobfinnsfant/index.php#

Just this year we downsized from 12 team to 10 team. Typically he'd be stashed on someone's bench as a handcuff but that changed with the reduction of teams.

Ugh. I'm in a 12-team league, and pickings are slim. I need to drop AB, but there's really no one worth picking up.

I got both Kobe (autodraft) and picked up Westbrook (late in the draft) and Westbrook was back from day one, which was way surprising. Guess it was too good to be true.

    Missed that one.

His play style defensively is definitely aggressive, but that's what makes him so good on that end. At least from what I see, it's not like he's playing outside of the rule book to make plays defensively. He is in your face full court for 25-30 minutes a game which helps tire the opposing PGs.

And how does a Rockets fan complain about defensive intensity when that's what we've been pleading for from our players since Artest left?

    Who's available?

I just picked up Jeremy Lamb. I figure he might get some extra minutes as a scorer off the bench. Had to drop Aaron Brooks for now. :(

Beasley, Sessions, Mo Williams -- that caliber. I might just go w/Mo or Sessions for the the short-term if AB gets limited minutes tomorrow.
ETA: I do have KD though, so there's that.

I'd go Sessions if I were you.

KD is nice, wish I had a chance at him. Then again I have Paul George, Lamarcus Aldridge and TIMMAY.

I'm hurting at PG since I forgot to take MCW when I waited till the later rounds for my starting PG. Stuck with Oladipo's, Wroten's, Vasquez's and Augustin's of the world. Till now, of course.

    Good luck!

This is unfortunate. Like I said upon his return, the NBA is a better product with a healthy Russell Westbrook. That injury was certainly bad luck. I feel for Thunder fans. We Rockets fans know how hard it is to have a franchise quality player suffer from reoccurring injuries. Sampson. Yao. McGrady. It sucks.

I hope Westbrook has a full recovery and this isn't something him he deals with for the rest of his career.

FYI: Patrick Beverley comes to OKC on Dec. 29th. He should probably avoid ordering room service.
