The league probably wants to get a few games in for the Suns this season since they are playing pretty good and everyone loves Love.

lakers v rockets would get way more views than suns/wolves. it has to be some time warner elbow greasing.

Lakers will always draw big ratings because they are the LA Lakers and have the 2nd largest NBA market. However, after getting destroyed by Miami Heat on Christmas day, maybe ESPN doesn't want to expose their media darling to the rest of the nation.

Makes absolutely zero sense. Quality of the teams is about the same but Star power is obviously with Houston out of these 4 teams. You're losing viewers from 2 of the 4 most populous cities in the country...for Phoenix and Minnesota? I love bball, but I don't care to see that game.

Lakers are trash unwatchable without Kobe. Why would ESPN want to televise anything Lakers related?

Eh, I don't really care to be honest. Lakers only show up on national TV anyway, we probably have a better chance of winning the game if it's not on national TV.

I wouldn't say the Lakers got destroyed. They're just no longer an entertaining product.

on TNT they still announce the game so idk.
The lakers are always on ESPN or abc even without Kobe so idk why they would change the game. Wolves aren't playing well and suns are but Rockets and Lakers would be a better game anyway.

its ok tho i have ballstreams

No Kobe, it is understandable. The other game that is going to be on is gonna be a good one. The upstart, surprising Suns against Kevin Love's Wolves. Should be a good watch.

Lakers without Kobe is not a big draw.
