Come on man. Guy is 7th in the league in scoring, 2nd in assists while shooting 45% half of those shots from 3. I'd say he has earned the praise he is getting right now.
Agree, i was never saying Kobe deserves it btw, I was just stating whyt I think hes still getting votes and why Lin is also getting votes. Neither are deserving because they arent the best players in their roles by far.
His ethnicity is a huge part of why he is getting votes. His religion is another reason why he is getting votes. Kinda Tebow-ish. People like Lin because he's an underdog, but people like Kobe cause he's a ruthless winner.
Where can I find the details of Harden' contract? Are you sure it's the All Star Game and not the All Star Team? Thx. Or Harden shooting FT's I still think it's fun to watch. So much talent gathered together. I can't speak for the other 106,308 but you're wrong . Why the hate? He didn't rate himself. I think he's very talented, fun to watch, and a cool kid.
After reading this thread, I went and voted for Lin. How mad are you guys? Spoiler I also voted for everybody else in my sig.
(sigh) Okay, All Star team. He has to average at least 20 points 3 assists and 3 rebounds. OR He has to make the All Star game (just once, and I think in any of the first three years). He cannot be waived before 2017 (as if that's gonna happen). He cannot call the coach a "poo-poo head". Okay, I made the last one up.
Doesn't really matter, nobody should be mad here. It's good that lin has good popularity, but just like last year, there's 0 chance lin will play in the all star game this season. There is no way that the coaches will vote him in over the other players below him.
Lin is gonna be the snub with the most votes ever.. deservedly. hahaha backcourt starters are gonna be curry and cp3 the backups will be harden, lillard, and westbrook, parker. the frontcourt backups should be love, aldridge, and parsons.
Of course Lin deserve to be all stars. He got the votes. Yes, you can argue his number is not good or he is not the best in his role. But how many players can you put beside Harden and able put up number as high as Lin? Harden plays 40+ mpg and basically has control of every possessions in the game. Unlike Harden, Lin get the rest of the team involved. As good as Harden is at what he does, Harden's Rockets will never win a championship until he realize basketball is a team sport.
There are others far more deserving. He's going to turn it down if he gets voted in, so that should give you enough of an idea.
Howard averages more than Lin, so does Parsons. there are also at least 50+ players that average more than Lin that play alongside a heavy ball handler
I don't think Jeremy will be voted in and I don't think he will be selected as a reserve by the coaches, but here's a few stats that show he's an awesome player: He leads all guards in points per shot: http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/p...iciency/qualified/false/position/point-guards http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/p...rt/scoringEfficiency/position/shooting-guards He's 15th in points per shot among all players: http://espn.go.com/nba/statistics/player/_/stat/field-goals/sort/scoringEfficiency/qualified/false He leads all players in FG% on drives, 8th in drives per game,15th in player PPG on drives, 8th in team PPG on drives, 7th in pts per 48 min on drives (five or more drives per game): http://stats.nba.com/playerTracking...lters=DVS*GE*5&sortField=FG_PCT&sortOrder=DES Just enjoy him as a Rocket. He won't be here for too long anyway.
Great to see Harden and Lin get so many votes! Not surprised by Howard obviously. Can't wait for the final results.
Others have highlighted their favorite part of this ludicrous post, I thought I would add mine. Gotta love it
So are they going to start LeBron at center? Funny the top "front court" votes in the East are all SF. Just shows you how dumb the "front court" "back court" categories. It's an improvement over "guard" "forward" "center" but still dumb. Should have "point" "wing" and "big" instead.
