C: Hakeem Olajuwon PF: Tim Duncan SF: Lebron James SG: Michael Jordan PG: John Stockton I think PF, SF and SG should be the same for everyone. Not really much debate at those positions. C and PG are the spots where people will have different opinions.
SF - Larry Bird makes a great case for himself... C - I don't know why they will debate Hakeem isn't the best but they will... Freaking Bill Rusell and Wilt and Kareem and Shaq. My List: Akeem. Duncan. LBJ. MJ. CP3 (When its all said and done, he'll be the best IMO).
Are we just doing best players for each position? To me, that's not as interesting as trying to construct the best basketball team possible based on basketball fit so that's what I'll try to do. if i were building the best team it would be, pg: gary payton sg: michael jordan sf: lebron james pf: kevin garnett c: hakeem olajuwon they would be STUPID ELITE defensively. we would have speed and length at every position. versatility to be able to switch everything and still be effective defensively. don't really need a ball dominate point guard so i just need a solid defensive point guard who fits with jordan and lebrons playing style. kg would be an excellent compliment to hakeem. can knock down the open jumper, be a solid rebounder at the 4 and play great defense. our only weakness would be 3 point shooting but the defense and rebounding would be so great it would cancel that out. yes, i thought about this a lot
