I have to credit the coaching staff for Lin's defense tonight. Defending the pick and roll is a team defense. You could tell Rockets really made adjustments during practice.

 

the game ball goes to the pick and roll defense. very well defended by the bigs. difficult to defend the pnr when it's just the guard defending and the big doesn't show hard.



Lin had a good game, like all of our blowouts last season. I thought harden had the best game through 3 quarters when he was under control/ sharing and beasting defensively. That block on parker where he almost went down with another ankle sprain was pretty awesome. his fourth qtr was just whipped cream on the cappuccino.


so who are we trading tonight?

 

That's on McHale and Harden. Harden said tonight that the first part of the game he wasn't looking for his shot and trying to share and distribute more. That's why Lin was given the ball a lot too. I think if he keeps that mindset- we are golden.

Need space for this, though. It would be great if we could clear a spot or 2 in an Asik deal... I'm curious to see how Daniels could fit into the rotation.

Credit to Harden and Lin for playing under control all game. This set a good tone for the entire team to play great. Not going to harp about FT when we just picked up a good team win.

 

Yes which is big ! Lin played some great defense on him tonight

 

Take it with a grain of salt. Jones was our backup center with Omer and Greg out. We should do much better once we're healthy.

 

I would rather play the spurs in the Playoffs than the clippers. We just match up better with them.

Harden's 4th Q flurry was absolutely glorious.

21 points on 20 shots. More impressed by the 14 boards, although it came in 42 MINUTES. Tonight seems like an aberration though, I expect him to continue to give up crucial boards in the upcoming games.

The Spurs are a good matchup for him because he's playing against a structured and cohesive system they run. I expect him to still come up short when he goes up against elite forwards. Diaw and Splitter aren't Lee, Dirk, West, Aldridge and Love.

Decent night but he's still not the answer for me. Not yet anyway.

 

hate to say this . jeremy's D as good as BEV while retaining the play making and offensive punch.
