Brooks a pretty damn good game 18 and 5 off the bench and only 2 turnovers in 27 minutes. He struggled in the 3rd a bit, but he played well for 3 quarters.

For sure Brooks and Lin played OK.

    Calderon/Ellis didn't do better than Brooks/Lin

    Game was lost elsewhere.

Bev would have made no difference expect his D on the Mav's guards was worst last game and his offense was much worst than Lin/Brooks tonight

I don't disagree but that means he's got the ball in his hands for much of those 27 minutes as he either shot 13 times or passed the ball 5 times to a guy who scored or turned the ball over twice which accounts for 20 possessions in 27 minutes.

it looks like you have to have the ball to score or make plays... hmmm novel concept.

which reminds me, a player past his prime but who during his prime would be perfect for this team would be antawn Jamison. I remember a game in college where he scored like 20 points plus rebounds but only had the ball physically in his hands for like 51 seconds the entire game or something like that.

Yes b/c we sure did miss the extra .2 assists that a healthy Bev has given us as his season average! LMAO!!!

I'm guessing that Lin averages more than 2.2 assists during this 5 game stretch, even given this low assist showing in his first game back from injury.

You must not have watched the game either b/c the game wasn't lost by the guards. It was lost by not being able to stop Dirk. So who should you be blaming...

But maybe your blind "blame it on the cult attitude" just has you looking to blame Lin for everything. Hey- it's cold today. Lin's fault. Traffic at the mall... Lin's fault. Dirk scores 31 points on 11-18 shooting- Lin's fault.

Reading comprehension must not be your strong suite. Thanks for tipping me off before I would waste my time reasoning with you, but btw, the loss wasn't Lin's fault. I think everybody knows that, but his play was pretty ****ty.

After today one thing is still blatantly clear and I think you LOFs and LOHs will agree with me on this, Lin needs to hire a stylist.

Bev is a horrid playmaker no question, but we aren't talking about him.

If you wanna compare educational dick sizes, I graduated magna c*m laude from college, have a graduate degree and have probably read tens of thousands of more pages than you have.

You're the one who states that you don't even bother to read the posts or the threads (maybe b/c comprehension isn't your strong suit (it's suit- not suite- but once again, reading comprehension must not be one of your strong suits). LOL

But I'm glad you admit it wasn't Lin's fault. Please direct me to the threads where you are actually discussing who the blame should really fall on and who you are saying we need to trade...

Well you mentioned Brooks so I thought it was fair to bring in Bev too. Lin is the best playmaker on our team. He had 9 games last season with double digit assists and plenty more where he dropped 8-9 dimes. Imagine if he had Howard on the team last season instead of butter fingers Asik. He had a horrible assist game tonight however but like I said, it was his first game back and frankly, he played better than I thought he would.

Spiegel, I kind of disagree with this post. Have you notice our assists as a whole dropped compared to last year? You have to remember a good chunk of the possessions went to Howard's post up. You don't get assists from those kind of play.

However I have yet to see any chemistry between Howard and Lin... I wonder if he could set up easy dime for Tyson Chandler, why can't he do that with Howard?

Lin attacked a lot from his left tonight, that's a good sign

I think the Knicks used a helluva lot more PNRs and Dantoni's offense has more freedom for the PG to just go out and create.

I totally forgot to put you on ignore and I was so tempted to respond to this considering how far you are from reality in assessing me, but I'm glad I don't have the same insecurities that you do. I never intended to use educational "wangs" as a measure since it was just an expression to describe your emotional outbursts, void of any substance, towards any subject regarding Lin... but just as a tidbit...your credentials still don't come close even if I were to just use my undergrad career ;).

--> Ignore (pshh...that means I won't be able to see your posts btw)

I brought up Brooks not to say brooks is an great playmaker but to say that even Brooks got the to others more buckets with a much better assist to turnover ratio.

Because DH demands it in the post? Tyson doesn't post up really he runs PNR with Lin.

Majority of his turnovers were careless and even he commented as much after the game.

I'm generally a pretty lenient fan in regards to injuries. If a player is playing through or coming back from an injury, I generally would never criticize his game until it's clear he's healthy.

In the spirit of the holidays, I hope all fans here, LOFs, Rockets fans, any other random passer bys, hold the same attitude. There's no reason to be too harsh on players who aren't physically or mentally capable of being their best just yet.

And I hope the same people are so considerate of Lin's relatively poor game would do the same should Harden and Beverley perform poorly for a while following their injuries. I'm not holding my breathe on it happening(perhaps just the pessimist in me talking). But it would lead to a much more harmonious GARM.

Love the guy who starts the trash-talking but runs to the ignore button when he can't finish it. :p

Which would be consistent with a guy who has been injured and played a total of 35 minutes for the entire month of December until tonight. They were ugly and boneheaded at times and if he keeps making those plays at a clip of 5 a night, I will be right here with you. But let's be realistic...
