OK. Those that are saying that Brooks and Lin suck at defense....just STFO. Watch the stupid game and see how the game is played. Neither Lin or Brooks were the cause of the loss. When you only get 3 points from your other start in Garcia and 3 points from Casspi, that's going to spell doom. Lin, Howard, Parsons, and Brooks carried their own tonight....this team just needs a PF that can defend well....Jones isn't cutting it.

That 15-1 Mavs run to open the 3rd quarter was the killer. We gave them confidence and then we got flustered.

I don't know why our guys don't know how to adjust. Lin the PG should be the leader on the court, or Parsons. But no one is stopping to think.

Get rid of half of the team--those playing inconsistent. I've seen enough. Unless we get Asik back, we need guys who are individually skilled defensively because the team defense ain't cutting it.

Should if had DMo on Dirk, just because of his height plus he's agile, atleast make the shots tougher on him

Oh well...that was close-ish. We gave it all, with some key guys down.

I'm just glad that everyone came out alive and healthy.

Glad to see that Jeremy's offense is already in good shape, except for missing 3 midrange jumpers that he's normally good at. Hopefully his defense will get better too. And yes, you can get rusty on decision making too, so hopefully he'll keep improving. He had 4 TOs in first half and 1 in the 2nd half.

    Dwight is amazeballs :).

Maybe the team should all take a Viagra before the game...

Roster problem, not coaching. When Garcia & Casspi aren't hitting their shots they're worthless on the floor.

This is an easy win with Harden, Asik, and Bev back healthy. Mavs are trash. Even then the Rockets still need to improve their roster for the playoffs.

you didn't watch the game. It wasn't Lin's worst, but it was a overall bad game from Lin. He even would admit it. He had 4 FT's missed that were IMPORTANT to hit. The darn kid couldn't hit the side of a barn tonight with his FT> WTH???

Sad but true once again. No matter what this organization can't seem to put a team that will be allowed to grow and with the win now situatijon this season and with Asik wanting to be traded it will not happen once again. I hope something gets done soon.

This loss has nothing to do with the coach. Plus chill out we didn't have Beverley, Harden, Asik, and Smith. We've been dealing with so many injuries and were still 18-11, this team will go places.

At least D-Mo can put a hand up in front of his face. Or is that not allowed anymore ?

He want the only one, but I am surprised he is usually a good ft shooter. Defense and to are thing he really need to work on. And get his 3 pt shot back where did it go?

Tjone is still green. Dwight can't do everything, and parson seem to be the only guy u can count on for each game and we virtual have no bench. Asik is also need when Dwight sit.

Lin actually played really good D in the first half on Calderon. In the second the whole team played bad D, awful rotations, and no Omer.

And hey guys, Dallas scores like this on everybody. They're a good offensive team. Dirk went off tonight. Ellis was only 4 of 16.

What could we have used in this game...another wing player who can shoot and defend...oh and a big man who can defend and shoot...I feel we need to ditch the 3rd star chase and have Parsons as that guy. Add some depth and go the Spurs route.

Harden is only a liability when he isn't engaged or putting in the right effort. He isn't great because of some fundamental flaws.

However, with offense being so simplistic and predictable we need Harden to have any chance against the big dogs.

The refs didn't taking Howard out of the game - it was the zone D. The Mavs clogged the paint all night which made it near impossible to get the ball to Howard and without Harden's ability to generate offense there was no one left who could create offense besides Parsons. As I posted before: the Mavs are a perimeter jumpshooting team. If they get into a rhythm and their shots start falling, that's their game. They are weak in the post and have issues defending the perimeter just like the Rox.
