Dumping Colangelo and taking Ujiri back from the Nuggets was a great move for the Raptors. What's very funny and sad were these remarks by Matt Millen (err Colangelo) after Ujiri dumped Rudy Gay on the Kings. He clearly remains an idiot: http://www.thestar.com/sports/rapto...yan_colangelo_weighs_in_on_raptors_trade.html By: Star staff Published on Tue Dec 10 2013 Former Raptors GM Bryan Colangelo, asked about the monster, seven-player trade that saw Rudy Gay dealt to Sacramento, said the Kings have improved their talent leveL. “I put a high premium on talent and character, and Rudy Gay has an abundance of both,” Colangelo told the Sacramento Bee. “Obviously, Pete (D’Alessandro) has a mandate to increase the talent level of his team as opposed to depleting it. This move is a pretty good indication of that.” In January, Colangelo, then Toronto GM, acquired Gay from Memphis Grizzlies in a package that included Jose Calderon and Ed Davis. It was a deal that was widely regarded as a salary dump by the Grizzlies. Colangelo was dumped as Raptors GM in May and replaced by Masai Ujiri. The latest trade by Ujiri is also seen as another salary dump. Dumping Bargnani and Gay is great for the Raptors that puts them on the road to recovery, but I think next year is a bit early to expect much.
Lol barnes gets a flagrant 2 for making a play on the ball, and love elbows griff in the face and its a regular foul. Double standard much?
T-wolves about to blow it and Rubio seriously needs to take 500 shots a day in the offseason to help his shot.
Love's move was incidental, there was literally no intention to actually make contact with Blake, he was sweeping the ball hoping to make a baseline move. I'm not sure if I'd have called Barnes a flagrant 2, definitely a 1, but making contact with the ball does not mean a clothes line is a regular foul.
seriously and I was hearing about this kid 3 years before he was even drafted claiming he would be the next magic.
Jesus Christ Love & Peko are such monsters. Adelman is really going to transform this team into something amazing in the next 2 years as soon as Rubio passes the potty training phase after lagging so much further than everybody else.
Honestly his shooting is whatever at this point now but I'm most disappointed in the fact that his playmaking has dropped too. I'm not 100% sure but was last season when he tore his ACL? Maybe an offseason with him being 100% healthy might help.
Yeah, but what barnes did was nothing close to a flagrant 2. Then again, ref mark davis once gave the clipps a tech for high fiving.
That's what you get for trying to flop Chris Paul. Finally they don't give him that dumb call for just throwing his body into the defender all the time.
Love immediately checked to make sure Blake was ok, doesn't have a bad rep, while Barnes is known for being the biggest punk in the league;
