He's great at teaching guys to cover out on an island but tended to neglect the other aspects the last few years which is why the bad angle/ankle diving became prominent.
You sure that was on him? I mean, maybe it was, but his boys used to be some preeminent tacklers. Safeties and corners both, they would put their nose in there and deliver a hit. A lot of them are still doing so at the NFL. Seems to me that the bad tackling was program wide, and just affected the DB's as well and not in particular. Didn't the program either stop or reduce the amount of tackling in practice several years ago? It is stuff like that which I really point the finger at. That said, it is really a moot point, because, as much as I'll miss Akina, Major is right, everyone is affected by the current blight on the program, and everyone needs to go.

Absolutely sure that its the position coach's responsibility- its not just the horrid tackling bit the continually being poorly aligned and deer in the headlights reactions that led to bad angles and ankle grabs.
they say that they know people close to the situation. again, Brando, you don't have to believe them, but I am just passing along the info.
Please say you're not passing along info from hornsports. That place makes TexAgs looks slightly sane. I'm not seeing this on OB or SB.

I'm sure he did. I am guessing the hope is that it doesn't keep him there anymore than the other one did. It's also possible these posters are just random 12 year olds who want attention from an Internet message board and are making **** up.
