But we do tolerate black people being insensitive.

Are you American? Do you tolerate black people saying racially insensitive stuff?

Didn't the President receive plenty of backlash for being associated with a certain reverend?

She made previous "insensitive"/"humorous" tweets...like "Going to London, will I have bad teeth" or "Sitting next to German on plane, it's 2014, has he heard of deo". Those didn't get her fired.

I was wondering the same thing. Apparently she's made questionable tweets before, so I think her current and/or previous employers are a bit incompetent themselves by promoting her to an executive level in the first place.

Anyone with common sense would know that making that AIDS comment would probably land them in hot water. I mean c'mon.

Despite Twitter's popularity, stuff like this is a big reason why a majority of people with decent jobs do not tweet, or are at least very careful about what they tweet.

Im truly shocked by the lack of demand for personal responsibility by known conservative/libertarian posters. Funny how they don't demand that here.

Interesting. So she should be allowed to express her thoughts on twitter with no repercussions, but other people on twitter should not be expressing their thoughts about her thoughts? Your position is that her offensive thoughts should be allowed, but other people's offensive thoughts should not?

Yes, people who are already disproportionately marginalized, excluded and avoided would become more so. Conversely if this executive spokesperson for a publicly-traded, major internet conglomerate wasn't held accountable for her online comments the "diseased African" tweets and emails would increase exponentially, especially within IAC itself.

    Public relations huh? Wow!

That's way up there in the top 50 boneheaded moves list. Top 5?

She's changing professions to be a comedian now.
