Obviously he's not gonna find many minutes especially with Jones playing so well and Smith the better choice for backup 4/5.

I hope he finds a team with a spot open for raw talent. Maybe a team wanting to tank without tanking preferably in the East. The Knicks? Let's bring back Artest!

Jones hasn't been playing well lately, I think it's time to put Dmo in the rotation for a stretch and see how he does. They did the same thing last year, first Dmo and then Jones. I wouldn't say that if Jones was still playing the way he was when he was put in the starting line up, but his play has been lacking lately.

I'm a Dmo fan, but for the last two games I've seen him sulking on the bench. I don't think he should sulk, but I completely understand. Hopefully they can get things worked out so he can help the Rockets win.

He gets 5 seconds today, and here's how it goes. Pistons player drives straight at hoop, now all he has to do is go straight up with his arms out (verticality and all), but instead he turns sideways (automatic foul), goes up with one arm (lol) and then to add insult to injury the foul is so weak the player finishes an and 1 as if he isn't there.

    Quality all round

Exactly! What has he shown? The starting power forward spot has been UP FOR GRABS all season. We have a thin bench also. Bench time has been UP FOR GRABS all season. We all see how bad he's looked when he comes in the game. He's obviously just not earned it yet. And what's up with all these trade demands? I was under the impression that you needed to be a star player (or at least a very good proven established nba player) to have the leverage required to do that. Dude hasn't even made it in the nba yet cmon.

Disrespect to throw him for 5 seconds. Never saw such a stupid move, it's just killing young players.

Maybe if the guy actually got to play through his mistakes he could learn.

Heck we get to watch Lin jump up and turn it over or Harden get sticky hands, sometimes players need to know they can make mistakes and keep playing.

Because the issue is discipline, role players with no discipline are worthless, and tbh letting players develop undisciplined habits is a terrible idea. If he goes up vertically and gets called anyway, you can live with that, but this was just straight up crap. Jones got abused to hell and back the entire 3rd quarter against Indiana, but it was a "he was outmatched" issue, you live with that, but if he starts committing dumb fouls because he can't meet basic expectancy of discipline, what value comes from that?

Lin does get pulled for his issues at times, and Harden is a special case, like Dwight's post game, you need to let them play through it, come back to video afterwards, because any chance at a title is contingent on them "getting it".

People were right though, that he would be best under Popovich, Pop is the last guy in the league who puts up with that ****, especially from role players ("know your place" should be the guy's motto), and that's half the reason they develop players so well.

You are one of a kind. He jumped straight up with one hand up. Brewer lost Bynum for a second and that was Brewer's foul, just called on DMo.

Are you blind or stupid? you can literally pause that clip at the 4 second mark and see side on side contact.

McHale calling him out about being unhappy with playing time and then
provided with minutes did not perform well

Mchale is not good with his rotations. Other players make tons of mistakes. Dmo has never had a very long leash. I like tjones, but if dmo had been making mistakes like jones has been hed have been pulled and ridiculed here.

I get the feeling that mchale didnt like dmo's brash attitude from the get go.

Could still have let him play the last couple of minutes in garbage time when the game was in the bag. How can he develop if he doesn't get to play?

Mchale hasn't gave him any minutes to show if he can perform or not.

McHale called him out personally? How do you know it was not Brewer, or Smith? We all know you take every opportunity to bash Dmo because you don't want him taking minutes from your boy Tjones....it is transparent.

Just cheer for them both - whatever is best for the Rockets.

Guys that are left handed, very quick over 7 feet tall are worth the wait, let him develop, he has a cheap contract, there is no hurry.

Cod - it was not meant as a slap, but rather quoting the entire thing is sort of a waste of space, I liked your eval overall - I just disagree with it in general.

Here is the link you wanted: (don't like to double post but you lack some memory of recent past)

    http://blog.chron.com/ultimaterockets/2013/12/in-asik-best-player-in-rockets-trade-talks-stays-put/

Maybe it's just what Feigen heard.

This is getting childish with you. Maybe you had some alcohol after posts.
An apology in time is warranted after all the things you accused me of. ;)

I like what Terrence was doing but whatever benefits the team.
McHale is the chieftain and he got to decide who plays.

I don't mind Jones coming off the bench at all. Inconsistent play.
