Great bounce back win, especially with Harden/Asik/Lin all out. Hope that Bev's injury is not too serious. He's an important part of the team.

It's the idea of a coach vs player and who has the ultimate judgment call and responsibility. Most good players are always going to say that they are healthy enough to play even when they are really hurt and will do more damage to themselves by playing. I want Harden to get better. Sit him 5 games or whatever it takes. Don't bring him back too early. We don't need him now… we need him come playoff time.

Agreed. And Lin would be happy getting 10 points and 10 assists whereas Harden looks to get 25 and 5. Just the difference in their mentality and style.

Spiegel- how come I agree with you so often and disagree with you so often??? Oh wait… I get it now...

The Lakers essentially pick KOME Bryant over Dwight. Dwight is now starting to look ominus and Kobe is looking like a senior citizen. Kupchak thank you.

And in the nba that doesn't happen. I can not think of any coach that would sit a young all star when the player believes he can play.

Harden is going to have to make the decision to not play.

So I missed the game and just tuned in, and reading the summary it seems that now Harden is "injured" (what, bruised ego?), Bev fractured his hand, Smith sustained a knee injury, Lin and Asik are still "injured"...

    W. T. F.

What in the hell happened? Why is half the team injured? And how many of those injuries are "injuries"?

Nice to see Dwight stepped up, and it looks like our bench finally showed up. I guess they're gonna have to since half of the team is either injured or pretending to be injured now.

Parsons always going to be a factor due to his length and what he brings to the table every night. However, we have not seen him being the focal point of the team like Harden, Howard, and Lin. This isn't a knock on him though.

Morey said Keith Jones oked him in the Bulls game where he looked amazing so it usually comes down to the staff.

I said that too originally. But then if you look at the RG3 situation, that isn't true. Dude had totally jacked up his knee and everyone knew it but his coach still let him stay in b/c he said he could play. That move just cut short one of the careers of one of the most exciting QB's of the current era. Shanahan could've kept him out and should have.

I think tonight had little to do with ball movement and much to do with Dwight beasting one on one which led to an inside out game. This is definitely a good sign.

It does happen in the NBA. I guarantee you that not every guy who is sitting out a game due to injury is doing so b/c they say they are injured. A number of guys say that they can play sooner and the coach holds them back. Kobe was saying he was going to come back weeks before he actually did and why do you think it took so long? B/C Diantoni wasn't having none of that.

Also, sometimes you put a player in and see how his injury is hindering him an the Coach should pull him… like they should've pulled Harden when he struggled against the Kings.

His shots attempts are just about in line with his career averages.

You don't get too many assists dumping it into the post unless he goes right up with a shot when he catches it. Once you dribble a couple times the opportunity for an assist is gone.

The entery passes are helping him because bad angle passes forces him to get out of his position or the seal he has to get the ball. A good entery pass allows him to keep his position and make his move straight away. It's the little things like that we've improved on.

Can't you tell? There's a monster 6 team trade with Harden, Lin, Asik, Bev and Smith coming...

Or it could just all be a coincidence. Sort of like having minimal injuries last year...
