I loved Delfino, but letting him go was the right call. His salary was much higher than Casspi's. Plus Delfino got an injury at the end of the season that is keeping him off the floor this year.

The Rockets could use a stable presence on the bench though. Things will be better when Lin is back.

That is common with players out of the rotation. They are not getting any game time so they slip out of game shape.

This is why I think it is important to expand the rotation. So when players are out these guys still are in good enough game shape to contribute with more minutes.

It also means we can rest guys later in the season knowing guys are in shape, ready to play.

    Spurs do this perfectly.

Brewer was wide open but even then he should have just taken that 3 himself. I'll live with him taking that 3 10x in a row before brewer does.

He is terrible. People make him out to be a borderline star.

He can take Motiejunas with him too. We need defenders these guys will sell us out come playoff time. They will take advantage of these guys and Lin.

Well I guess one good thing that could've happened with that Boston trade had it happened would've had 2 extra bodies for tonight's game.

Pretty sure lots of people think he has regressed since his rookie year and is an average guard at best.

I think there is something there though. I see a lot of Laker games and there is a negative effect Kobe has on the team. If players think they are going to get involved in the game offensively, they play with more confidence and motivation. Ideally your defacto point guard is the type of player who makes other players better. Guys like Kobe or Harden are not that type. Their positives do far outweigh the negatives, but there is also room for improvement.

We need to get that 'Killer instinct', & not take our foot of the opposition's throat when they are down.
