Yes, the PS4 has a power button. To the right side of where you insert your disc, you should see two buttons; one on top, and the other on the bottom. Top button is power on/off button, lower button is eject disc.
If you hold down the PS button you receive the option to shut down or stand by. If you hold down the power button on the console itself it can send it into stand by, or even safe mode if it is longer. If you have a Mic in or the camera, you can either press the L1 button (might be L2) to bring up the voice menu (or in the case of the camera just talk)...then say PlayStation Power. Then there's a voice command to power it off or enter stand by. You can also turn it off and on through a phone or tablet and the PS vita (has to be in stand by to turn it on). Hope this helpssss.
The best add on I bought for my gaming system is the iron gym pull up bar. It calms all my frustrations in between losses and loading. You should try it.

Has anyone tried trading in their PS3s/games/accessories toward a PS4 at Gamestop? Are they giving any extra credit for that and about how much were you able to take off the price?
I think they might have had a special on trading in hardware earlier on, but I don't think that is going on anymore. Not sure what the current trade-in values are. I posted this in the XBO thread, but do you guys think we should have a "console wars" thread? I don't mind some of these discussions, but I don't know if it is best for these threads to be filled with that stuff, especially since only a minority of people probably even care about that stuff. Could put sales talk, tech talk, Kinect discussions, upcoming games that will determine the outcome of the war, etc., all in there. These threads can stick to how to find the systems, what games to get, sharing account names, etc. Some of this seems to just come from drive by posts, likely with no intention to have an actual discussion (just spreading FUD), so not sure that will help much, but maybe something to try. Just a thought.
Yeah I think they are giving you 30% more if your trading in towards a ps4 and xbox one. I would double check though.
I'll definitely be getting 2k14. Is any other game worth getting right now or should I wait until more come out? I was thinking about Killzone but am not sure.
Killzone is TERRIBLE. Don't waste your money. 2K14 should buy you time until something like watch dogs comes out.
I'd put Killzone above NBA 2K14. Even if it isn't great, I don't think it is broken. But I'd put other games above both (Warframe people....Warframe).
I never played Killzone, so I can't comment on it. I love the 2K series, but since 2k13, they're trying really hard to push the game towards micro transactions. I remember in 2k12, I could play 6 minute quarters and get 1k+ in currency per game. In 2k14, I'll be lucky to get 600 and that's playing 12 minute quarters, scoring over 70 a game with a triple double. As much as I love NBA2K, I won't be purchasing their games anymore in the future until they fix this. They turned this into a rpg and have you grind mindlessly for days just to make your character marginally better. It's ridiculous how you have to purchase everything now. From different dunks, layups, to shot poses, even the clothes aren't free except the purple suit.
I might be one of the few....but I like Killzone. It has a solid single player portion to it. I don't play that one online, so I cant speak for that though.
I want to get at least one shooter. I know 2k can probably kill most of the time for me but still... Does bf4 have a decent campaign? I don't play much online. And thanks to everyone who answered. rep'd
