we should trade asik to the nets

    KG is the only guy that is interesting because of the D that is still left in the tank.

    Honestly, if the nets called offering KG and some number of picks or other assets I would seriously consider. I think he can still play defense and rebond on the right team but why would he be motivated on the Nets?

    In Houston he would be in the Mutombo role as a guy to spell D12 for about 13 to 15 minutes a game. He could supply some leadership and he has a close relationship with McHale. I think he would be a great locker room guy and his contract falls off the books in 2015.

    Asik, Lin and a 1st in 2015 for DWill?

    That would at least give the Nets some hope for the future. A young defensive elite center, a young efficient point guard and a 1st rounder. Asik and Lin would almost guarantee a play-off spot this season for the nets and the 1st round pick would give them hope for the future.
