The plays are not good ones, lol. The rockets system is slow and obvious and I'm not going to just blame Harden and Dwight and call them divas cuz they arnt. And have you ever seen Pop coach HE KEEPS THEM IN CHECK. Take a look at the top teams they run their plays to perfection and the shots are created from those plays within the offense if you watch Houston it is just iso and during time outs Mchale doesn't really draw anything up, he is not that type of coach. We don't know of we are a fast or slow paced team and everyone looks confused.
hire a playbook staff or be satisfied with a first or second round exit. still get paid millions, so its all good i would like some of that money tho pick and roll, post up, iso harden, or 4 shooters stand at the 3pt line driving and kicking. those are 95% of the plays rockets run. thats not gonna get it done
Here's another one. Houston ran around searching for a shot for 20 seconds then chucking up contested looks (hey.. What's new?) Indiana runs down the court, runs an offensive play and low-and-behold find themselves wide open from anywhere on the court. Good coaching is really night and day.
thank you!!! we have no team chemistry because they are not playing as a team they are just being told to 'pass the ball" but you need to do more than that, Mchale is being outcoached on a nightly basis.
I feel you man! I can relate. But how many rings does McHale have as a COACH? McHale can't yell like Pop because he hasn't won anything and hasn't established himself in H-town.

Pop didn't always have rings and our stars don't have any either. He needs to grow balls but he has none because he doesn't have any plays to back it up. He is not a good coach and they know it that is why he doesn't have a leg to stand on. I want George karl to be the coach asap. Disclaimer: MCHALE IS A GREAT GUY AND I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST HIM PERSONALLY .
Pops didn't start out with rings. He started out yelling. He also has a well documented talent for making his players feel like they're family. It's a lot easier to get away with yelling when your players love you.
Exactly, Duncan and Parker are very coachable. Sure, I like McHale to be more assertive and demonstrative, but he is who he is. I am not defending him, but I am saying the Rockets have to long way to go and coaching philosophy is just one of the issues that need to be take care of.

This has nothing to do with Bev... Like I said before.. if Lin were out there you guys would be flaming Hardin for not passing the ball. You could have Chris Paul out there, and it wouldn't make a difference if Hardin controls the ball for the entire 24 second clock... So stop trying to make this into a Lin is great than bev thing and see the issue for what it is. T_Man
