Harden needs to take some games off to rest his body, he isn't moving and playing well at the moment, also our bench is the worst i have seen in quite some time

only positive is Howard is playing well at the moment

 

Hopefully McHale is fired at the end of the season. The only player being developed what I can see is Howard.

 

something has to go, mchale, role players, just something. Its not working and this win now mentality is "delusional." Some has got to change because being 09 again isnt good enough with this talent. We have 2 superstars but it feels like we have zero.

 

And still this team can not find a PF that has taken Scola's place. The team lacks a bench even when healthy can the team count on Asik who does not want to be here and on Lin who is injury prone?

 

asik and lin need vagisil quick. They seem to miss every game they can.

 

This entire season has been an exercise in what lack of focus looks like.

Half the time I see guys just looking around stunned. Dejected.

Why isn't anybody on this team getting pissed off???

 

Actually Scola did not need much developing. Was winning in the Olympics.

He was a 26-27 year old rookie with international pedigree coming into the league.

 

But he's right

 

Coaching is still a problem.

Our system requires our players to have a high basketball IQ in which they would know when to make cuts, pass, etc. Who do we have with such high bball iq? Dwight? Harden? Lin?

If we learn set plays and run them repeatedly in practice we'd know our options, who'll be making the screens, who's going to be open and such. If the play gets broken up, we'd know we have other options.

 

Level headed people post in the game thread?

 

This is only our 2nd loss in double digits which should be told to all knee jerkers, it's not like these blowouts are a regular occurrence

 

Yeah, we had Marcus morris and Patrick Patterson, but MOrey traded him for TROB.. Genius move Morey.

 

This game shouldn't be a surprised considering how we looked against the cadaver that is the Chicago Bulls.

Yes it is. And I hate watching that game. I hate the fact that I stayed up until 4:18 am to watch it. And I hate, that we are still not mature enough to go out of this with some pride.

I am just trying to get some perspective here. Hate the game, just don`t hate the whole team because they are actually on a good track and like I said, still a work in progress - both on and of the court.

This ugly, ****ty game doesn`t mean we won`t go anywhere in the playoffs - just as a win against the Spurs doesn`t mean we will go to the finals.

 

How did this lead get so big, I only could watch first half. Defense? Scoring?

 

Our first real test and it's a big fail

Spurs don't count as they are old. Warriors wins don't count as they are getting exposed too and are basically an avg team rt now

I'm feeling sick and about to puke at this horrible performance. Pacers are a good team but we should have more fire than this.
