No way Harden is the 4th best player in the NBA (which ESPN claimed at the beginning of the year) and I'm a huge Rockets fan. He's maybe top 15. Meanwhile, Paul George is the one who is the actual 4th bext player in the NBA.
Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers are always going to be a bad match-up for the Rockets because Harden is Rockets #1 option on offense and Paul George/Lebron/Wade can make things miserable for him without any help defense, which means Rockets team offense is going to struggle. To compound matters, these two teams have terrific perimeter defense while Rockets cant guard anyone on the perimeter. We are still 1 excellent piece or 2 very good pieces away from being legitimate championship contenders. We would need that upgrade to beat either of these two teams which we will almost certainly meet in the Finals, should we get there.
This is wear a legit coach would work wonders for our team oh and not to mention is the beard was healthy it would be a different story. High ankle sprains are no joke. However the highly intelligent clutchfans rule is to blame lin or harden every time this team blunders.
I love how people make excuses for a players p*** poor performance. Harden didn't show up period, had nothing to do with an ankle sprain lol.
Harden doesnt have much versatility to his game, which is why this team wont go anywhere if hes leading the way. He wants to take jumpers and get foul calls when those 2 things arent going his way hes useless.

Had a feelin this thread would get bumped, with Harden having a poor performance and all.. everybody typing with anger because the Rockets are loosing, and there releasing there immediate knee jerk reaction, but it's a few things people should also consider Pacers are playing at home and was the getting the benifit of the calls 1st half Rockets are not playing with there full team, Lin, Asik (or who he's traded for) Harden is just having a bad night.. its not all George I guarantee you, when we play the Pacers in our building with a Healthy Team, it's gonna be a whole different outcome
Harden has never showed up against Paul George in the regular season. Dude gets shut down every damn time. Same against Iggy. It's always ****ing "injuries" when he has a bad game. He's starting to become more and more 1-dimensional as his 3 pt is fading and he's turning it over as much as he is assisting, that's the truth.
Remember, our expectation isn't to win the championship this year. We're still a very young team and it's Year 1 of having two stars. I have faith Morey can get that 3rd/4th player we need to compete with the true elites.
Has Harden ever played a good game when George was guarding him though? Last year, George managed to completely shut down Harden as well.
Those who know have been saying the same thing. Defense, George has it and Harden doesn't. I like Harden and I'm a Rockets fan and even then it is easy to see that George is on a different level. George is the 2nd best player in the league, period. When the game ends, take a look at the turnovers too.
