Weird, Walmarts tracker worked last night and I saw a few stores that said in-stock. Don't know if they actually were or not. Today it's not working now =/

RC_Cola is mine. If you look through this thread or some old threads, you'll find some others (though not sure if they'll all be people with PS4s).

I don't really play much besides Warframe at the moment though. Even that, I tend to play it solo (including my one man clan).

Roughly 50% more powerful, better controller, install times are a lot shorter, less cluttered UI, camera not forced, voice commands w/o camera, speaker in controller, roughly 40% smaller, no power brick, $100 cheaper, hdmi cabled included (cuz someone thinks this is important), easier for devs to develop for, better architecture, apps aren't blocked behind a paywall (netflix etc), doesn't look like a vcr.

If you are more into multimedia functions than gaming or if everything you own is MS and you want to stay in their ecosystem, than the xbone would be a better choice.

LOL....specs. That is not a reason alone. There won't be much difference in games between the systems.

Which Sam's was this? In Houston? I might have to pick up BF4. I don't like the game, but for $30 why not?

I never liked BF either, but from the hour I've played so far, I like it a lot more than COD:G.

Reading is fundamental. Completely glossed over the locale for some reason.

I wasn't being serious with that post (just joking around), although I'm not sure I agree. There is already a pretty big difference in games between the systems, and I'm not sure the difference will get much smaller over time (it will likely increase).

Quite frankly I now feel the real reason to get a PS4 over an Xbox One is Remote Play. It's definitely the Killer App that has made it worth it. It's a costly investment, but man is it worth it. I was chilling at my desk playing NBA2K14 through my Vita just a moment ago without even turning on the TV, or walking into the other room to turn on the PS4 for that matter. No lag whatsoever. The controls are a bit iffy, but I think if I tweak them a bit it'll be fine. As is for every game but 2K to this point it's been outstanding in that regard also. I'm sure they'll add an option to remap some buttons in the future.

Also if you ever plan on streaming the PS4 has dedicated hardware for it, that's the reason it can record up to the last 15 minutes at any given time with no hit to performance. The Xbox One does not have this dedicated hardware, that's why it maxes out at 5 minutes and also why they're having to work to get Twitch streaming up and running. You push one button on a PS4, put in a title and voila you're streaming.

People have to make games that take advantage of it, with PS4's much more developer friendly api (as compared to the PS3. It's allegedly more simple than Xbox One also.) there's no reason to believe that they won't.

Side note: People on NeoGAF are going crazy because new details have emerged that prove the PS4's CPU is more powerful than the Xbox One's as well. We already knew about the GPU/memory, but it seemed like the Xbox One had the faster CPU because they announced actual specs and Sony never did. This no longer seems to be the case...hope people are really enjoying yelling "Xbox...Xbox...Xbox" to get their Kinect working.

It is kind of difficult to pull a lot of info from that benchmark. It is unclear if each core is faster on PS4, or if PS4 somehow offers more CPU power to benchmarks/apps (e.g., XBO offers 6 cores while PS4 offers 7, or something like that). By itself, I would say it is interesting, but wouldn't take a lot from it.

What is interesting is the comment from "Matt" in that thread:
This is an "insider." A dev IIRC. That is a little more definitive than the benchmark (though guess it could just be an opinion).

It is a little surprising, and certainly just another thing "wrong" with the XBO design (and their PR), though it doesn't really make a difference overall. The CPUs are still pretty close (perhaps even identical in many things), and they also don't have a huge impact on what these machines can do (especially as more and more things can be done on the GPU).

To your earlier point, I think something like Remote Play matters much, much more. I much prefer that feature over many of these other things. Definitely would like some better features for mapping controls though (among other things).
