    Yes, I got repped for something once that was actually reprimanding me. I clarified the offending post with an "EDIT: Blah blah blah, this is what I didn't spell out...."

    Morey doesn't need to trade Asik until February really. If Asik doesn't want to play then suspend him without pay. Be a little b**** without pay if you want Asik.

    If you are offering your crops for five dollars but buyers are only willing to pay three then you do not sell. Asik future value will be increased as we get closer to the NBA imposed trade deadline. This is not to say that we shouldnt trade him now, because i think we should, but Morey wont take less than asking price.

    The prospect of settling for Bass and Lee has that effect on people. ;)

    Have you seen any indication of Morey pulling back? I had entertained this as a possibility, but with the way things have gone, it really looks like Morey has framed this deal as an auction and he's trading Asik today (or maybe tomorrow) come hell or high water. To draw back now would jeopardize his credibility in future trade talks. He won't be able to draw another red line and expect people to believe it. At the very least, I'd expect we'd already see a lot of backpedaling now to prepare counterparties for the possibility he'd revoke his own deadline.
