I know his contract doesn't end in 2014/15. Why do you think that I thought they would need to trade him than in 2015 to make love for a max contract???

Where did I say anything about a S&T???

To fit your self-made argument that Morey doesn't give up assets for nothing, you said Morey essentially traded T-Rob for Dwight Howard (or the chance at Dwight in free agency) for which I said if you are going to put it that way, Morey would pretty much be doing the same thing with the Lee contract in 2015. Forget I said Lee "Expiring" contract. I get that they would have to trade for Love at the Feb 2015 deadline which I already said. they would be getting an Expiring contract for the NEXT SEASON.

If you look at it as trading Lee and a 1st round pick for the opportunity to sign Kevin Love and he does sign, its a good deal. If he doesn't obviously you are screwed.

Honestly, Im not really sure what you are trying to argue with me about. Other than trying to catch me being wrong about some piece of information you think I dont already know.

We'd be better off to have Asik and do a S&T involving Asik than to be using a first and Lee. Asik would represent more value in a S&T out than Lee would.

I just don't understand why people are complaining about getting contracts that go past 2015. I get that Lee's deal isn't very friendly but we are in a position that we shouldn't and can't wait on something that will improve our team later on. Who knows what will happen in 2015? Maybe the Wolves actually put it together or trade Love to the Clippers? What if our opportunity to win in now and the coming year? Point being, when you are on the cusp of winning, sometimes you have to sacrifice some future cap to help the present. And this isn't like we have the Knicks management who will sign and trade for players based on stupidity. We have Morey, someone proven that if he really wants to get rid of a contract, he will make the deal and make the best deal possible. Stop worrying!

I dont think ANYONE would argue that the Rockets aren't better off with Asik at this point either way you look at it.

The PROPOSED deal sucks, I get it, and surely Morey isn't thrilled with it either. If this is the best deal, I'd hate to see the bad ones.

Asik really is screwing the Rockets here both short and long term.

I think too many of you guys are focused on the Bass/Lee deal that has been dead for a week.

-Also, its important to note that the Rockets are going to have to give up a young player as well to get a roster spot in this proposed deal. The obvious casualty is D-Mo most likely because of his sulky attitude about not playing which is his own fault.

I'd like to keep developing him, but you can almost feel him attaching himself to Asik in this situation to try and get out as well(as Feigan tweeted about yesterday). Little does D-Mo know that Boston has about 40 power forwards as well, and all of them will gain PT over him in Boston as well.

Really feel like the sensitive Euro's are really screwing the Rockets here. Have fun getting yelled at by Rondo Asik & having to deal with Boston fans who bash you on a daily basis for not being able to make a layup, and have fun D-Mo going from the 4th big in a rotation to the 18th.

My guess is DMo is headed to Philly.

He better hope so, cause in Boston he will be riding the pine or back in the D-league. Olynyk at least can hit his threes, and is barely playing lately.

That's the latest. Might not be a three team deal after all.

Might not be a 3-team deal for Asik. 2 team deal for asik and 2 team deal for DMo.
