No MD Anderson, Sloan Kettering or Cedars Sinai. Three of the best hospitals in America but Obamacare won't let you go there. Believe it or not this turd has continued to look worse and worse just when you thought that wasn't possible.

No, it isn't. It is supposed to give access to the medical system to millions of people who previously were forced to go to the emergency room for basic medical treatment. If you want to make an intelligent point, you can't just make **** up like texxx does.

I didn't move a thing, Space Ghost is the one who created a straw man to argue against, you can't blame me for burning that straw man down.

Is this so? Then why were millions of plans canceled? I am sure they all provided basic medical treatment.

Sounds like you burned yourself with your own argument.

Actually, if you actually read about the plans being canceled rather than listening to the pundits talking about them, many were substandard, didn't provide the minimum coverage defined by the ACA, and a great many were more akin to a scam than insurance.

But don't let a pesky thing like facts get in the way of your inaccurate beliefs.

BTW, offsetting those millions of canceled policies (which will, as a rule, be replaced by better policies) will be millions upon millions of people who will receive insurance as a result of the ACA who would otherwise have consumed healthcare in the most inefficient way possible, by going to the ER.

I am very aware why plans were cancelled. I am aware that everyone I know who's plans have been cancelled were not "substandard". They understood their plan and were happy with it. They were forced to pay for things that were physically impossible or just not interested in paying for.

Your definition of substandard and their definition of substandard are very different.

What is your point there were 40 something uninsured people who were getting no coverage now

Even currently there are a plenty of insurances that would not allow you to go to MD Anderson, and this article is talking about insurances on the exchange. So some of these people never had insurance.

I don't care if you go to the crappiest cancer hospital in the country, Radiation Oncology is the one the hardest specialties to match to so you probably have someone who pretty freaking smart.

I fully believe that all the people that you know have had the same experience, it is highly likely that the people you know share your background, education level, and general employment level, which would put them all in roughly the same category. However, those people's experience does not reflect the experience of the vast majority of people, look at the data, not at the anecdotes.

The GOP & Wall Street think they can generate enough rage to sweep them back into power. These nuts actually believe that running to repeal Obamacare is going to get gift wrap the Presidency to Christie. Hilarious.

And where was the anger over millions not being able to get into MD Anderson because they couldn't afford health insurance? Republicans sure are good at selective outrage aren't they?

Socialism is America's future, right wingers. Deal with it.

covered california offers plans through Aetna, Molina Health Care, Anthem BlueCross, California Blue Shield, and Kaiser Permanente.

did any of those plans include cancer treatment at Cedars-Sinai? before the ACA?

if I sign up for Kaiser Permanente and I get cancer, I'm going to one of the Kaiser Permanente hospitals for treatment.

    this!

They get there monthly message from the RNC. They don't think for themselves. Sad really. Like when they were told to call the web site roll out obama's Katrina. No one had sense to say it was over the top.

I thought the ACA was for everyone since it affected everyone. Didn't realize that it was really just about the un-insureded.

The sad petering out of this thread makes me wonder if Obamacare as a GOP issue will die the same death as birthirism and Benghazzi, the little scandal that tried.
