Bass' best season is around 12.5 p and 6.2 boards

He isn't that bad... early Landry production

Bass had one good season that got him the contract. He's been a serviceable bench player, not worth his contract since then.

    Bass and/or Lee? Nooooooooooooooooooo.

Btw, Millsap sat out most, if not all, of the 4th quarter in favor of Mike Scott last night when the game was still very much in reach for the Kings. Horford, Korver and Teague were all out there until 1-2 minutes to go.

Also spotted: Hawks GM Danny Ferry and Rick Sund (former Hawks GM, now senior advisor) presumably getting a crap offer from the Rockets :):

Courtney Lee has been playing about 16 minutes per and 7.5 pts. per. He is hitting a lot of threes this year. Courtney been playing hard on D as well as Bass.

Will Danny Ainge aim 2014 free agents?

Send Wallace,Bass,Lee,Olynyk, several 1st picks to 76ers and Rockets to get Asik back, they will have 20m cap space in July, can make a hard push to Carmelo Anthony

Won't be disappointed but Millsap is a 15-16 and 7-8 rb kind of guy. A notch better

IMHO you don't play Bass next to DH, you play him next to Smith or DMo or whoever the backup C is. His contract next year is only 6M which is on the lower end of big men contracts. Lee is quite expensive but he can play both SF and SG positions, he can even play PG if Harden is playing since Harden's the guy who dominates the ball anyway.

IMHO we have a better chance at Klove if we acquire players and assets we cna trade for him rather than freeing up capspace and trying to sign him outright. Lee's someone who succeeded in RA's system before and he and KMart are able to play together, while Bass's defense should compensate Pekovic's bad D. Obviously we need way more assets if we're gonna trade for Love, but at least those guys should serve as a starting point for a Love trade.

Bass and a most likely protected first that belongs to Atlanta or Boston for Asik. The Celtics and Hawks should finish 3rd (with the addition of Asik) and 4th. That means they will be the 20th and 21st pick respectively.

Bass and a 21st pick....sigh. They won't get the Nets pick and we don't want Lee. I get that Bass has a good mid range J, can rebound and defend, but he's 6'8". He's Patrick Patterson without the 3 point range.

So what were the Sixers offering then? If not Turner, Young, or picks then who? Was it Hawes all along? As much as I want Hawes instead, he would be a rental who would cry for playing time so he could jack up shots for his next contract. The Rocekts already have 5 players in their contract season, and even more players who want more playing time.

Olynyk is overrated and a bust. No one wants him. Most of us know who Brandon Bass is, thank you for your assessment of his game.

For the current rox, I would rather have a proven player than a pick.

Can we just do a 3 team swap between Celts and Bobcats?

    Rox : MKG + Bass
    Celts : Asik
Bobcats : Lee + Pick from Celts

Hey I watch them all the time. I'm telling you they are not as bad as this board makes them out to be.. Stevens has them playing hard. I don't want Asik so I'm not selling any thing. Keep him or go get Hawes. I hope you can. You people are rude.

This year's draft can yield you better role players who can become 15-18 ppg guys.
I would at least think about it.

Not rude, just upset over the big letdown trade being talked about. We expected at least a little more coming back.

Stats are misleading. Asik improves you're defense at a level that only few centers in the NBA can. Dude will improve you're rim protection, you're rebounding will spike as well. Bass can only dream of having Asiks effect.

Bobcats are in a win now mode. They want to make the playoffs this year. The only reason the do the deal is because they believe Asik helps them now. Lee for MKG and some pick in 2015, don't think even MJ is that stupid.

Hey, if we could I would rather Ainge go after Monroe. I don't see that happening.

And i would rather Morey do business with any of the other teams rumored over the past couple of weeks. Better returns in each case.
