Over adding Millsap? Seems to me it was just last year the Rockets were hoping to get either Howard or Millsap. And now we have an opportunity to get both?

Ok now that the game is done and we won.

Let's focus back on the most important task at hand.

    Getting Courtney Lee/Brandon Bass!

Just to put this in perspective, Morey follows 5 current NBA players who are not Rockets (not counting Camby because he is not playing and will probably come back to the Rockets if at all). 3 of them are recent Rocket players: Battier, James Anderson, and Thomas Robinson. The other two? Kevin Durant and Paul Millsap. Food for thought.

    ROFL

You guys and your Jonesies. TJones almost tore the rim down on a couple jumpers guys. He's steadily getting worse and worse.

They are also making a collective $11mil/yr. Also, Bass is mostly a mid-range jumpshooter and Lee being a 3pt specialist that isn't too reliable on 3s. Neither are perfect fits. They are simply bodies that can eat minutes.

To me you trade for Bass/Lee because they are can be in the rotation don't entirely suck. They're not talents. When you trade talent(Asik) for non-talents(Lee/Bass), fans are not going to be happy.

It's also why Morey's so insistent on Millsap. Millsap is talent.

Was Morey following Dwight Howard before D12 signed with Houston?

Thank you. I'll give him some credit. I wrote him off as a bust early this season and he's clearly exceeding expectations. But he's still not someone I would want as our second best front court player. That won't get us far in the playoffs.
Howard / Jones / Millsap I can live with.

Exactly why they are good solid fits on the Rockets. Midrange and 3 point shots, ability to space the floor and score when stars are in a slump.

They would be borderline useless on a mediocre team like the Celtics or on a bad team (Utah, Philly.....).

Look, when the jury was out this summer on Chris Paul's free agency, Morey started following him. Later we found out we were on the cusp of getting Paul to go with Howard if Clippers hadn't gotten Doc.

    Here's your proof:

I actually like both Bass and Lee. Would be a good trade if a pick is involved too.

Bass lee and a pick I wouldn't be dissapointed with just not impressed. I mean the team defiantly upgrades with them two coming bit I'm not sure why we're taking about it. Wasent it confirmed rockets said no to the trade like 5 days ago

Your assessment on Bass and Lee is so low it is embarrassing.

First Bass is a big body who gives us a bit of toughness and flexibility.

Lee is a really good perimeter defender who can defend the 1, 2 and 3. He can handle the ball and is actually shooting at a really high clip.

Also both guys have playoff experience, which is what this team needs.

Is it the best trade, no. To say they are no talent is just plain wrong.
