Williams is a shooter and would play off of Harden better then Lin.

 

If the alternative is Bass/Lee/1st, I agree. But I draw the line at a 1st. Both of Knicks' 2nd round picks, a Eurostash, and Asik is where I would put it at.

The rumored Celtics trade supposedly was rejected a week ago, and Morey just followed Milsap on twitter, so I guess Milsap for Asik is the rumored trade right now. There haven't been any reports of the Rockets and Hawks talking about a trade though.

 

i kinda hope we keep lin, i felt maybe courtney lee could help off the bench, but jlin and tjones leading that second unit (assuming we get millsap)...

Asik is worth more than Millsap. Asik is elite on one end of the floor, he's younger, and he's on a slightly better contract.

If we can get a 2015 1st, I think that's fair.

 

You would think Atlanta would like having Asik considering you need a top defensive center to stand a chance against the Heat (not saying they are trying to contend but...#3 in the east-could build on it)

Millsap has pretty much been a top 5 PF in the league based on advanced stats.

He added a 3 pt shot between last season and this. So far this year, he's taking around 2 a game and hitting around 40%.

He's the all-round guy you put next to Dwight and Harden.

 

still though, I'd rather have the depth of Bass and Lee + a pick.

 

Terrance Jones tries so hard on defense and still just sucks at times but I love his effort.

 

The Rockets are practically undefeated when Jones puts up numbers similar to Nilsson's averages and Parsons/Harden aren't injured.

 

When did Morey follow Howard after or before he signed him?

 

So, what happens to TJones if we get Millsap? He gets moved to the bench?

I would say adding Tjones to the bench would add to our depth. CLee and Bass does not fit with our long term plans.

Our bench looks depleted with Lin injured.

 

In the NBA, quality > quantity
