YES! People feared the worst and this suggests that it was not a high ankle sprain as Harden mistakenly reported to the media yday. No way you come in 3 days if it was that injury
Honestly its usually foolish to blame coaches for players injuries. Playing 37-39 mpg is actually very typical for most star players in the nba.
Harden is trying to imitate Kobe. Seriously we should rest Harden for a couple of games. Don't want that to become chronic.
If Harden plays with this injury his defense will probably suffer. Rest him. It's not the end of the world if he takes a few games off to heal properly.
The Bulls are so offensively-inept and short-handed themselves, I think it would be alright if Harden takes this game off.
Can they come up with a separate name for "high ankle sprain"? First time I heard it (in football related), I thought it was not a big deal. I guess sprains in general have a wide range of severity..
High Ankle sprains are the normally worse then breaks. If he tries to actually play on a High Ankle sprain he wont make it pass the first 5 minutes.
Didn't he try last year to play with an ankle sprain and couldn't do it? I think it's nuts. I know Lin is out but Parsons and AB and others can try to improvise some playmaking. Run the ball through Dwight, do a little 2 man game with cutters Parsons or Beverley and see what happens. I don't think Harden should play but the first few minutes will show just how mobile he is.
