"Ooh Yes, I've had my eye on that wonderful beast for decades".... Trying a little too hard to be funny, for my taste...will watch the movie though. ....... ....... .......
I think the entire show. (another 45 minutes from right now). WF is pretty funny off-the-cuff. Will watch SC tonight. Champ Kind is scheduled to be on also.
Listening to him interview Patrick is hilarious. I thought the SC thing was cancelled due to the Florida State QB dealio?

Burgandy- "If anyone ever comes to this show, get a travel agent." Patrick- "Ron, you went to the wrong door." Great hour. Hilarious!
it was solid, followed the same formula as the original, first hour or so, flat out laughs throughout, the rest tries to be serious and funny at the same time the last 20 mins you will think is pure comedic genius or just flat out dumb as hell plan on 2nd viewing
I just reserved my seats for Saturday evening at Sundance downtown. Also reserved tix for American Hustle on Sunday. Next weekend, Wolf of Wall Street. FINALLY some damn good movies out!
The first one...I didn't really find that funny upon first viewing. It had to grow on me over time and subsequent viewings. I have a feeling this one might be the same way for me...albeit given I'm more prepared for this quirky type of humor I might accept it better upon first viewing. I just hope it doesn't feel like retread of the first one and it brings something new to the table. If it just rehashes the same humor from the first one, then it could be a "meh".
FWIW, it was A LOT better sequel than Hangover 2, then again, H2 was the EXACT same story just in a different setting
I saw it last night, and it was a really good movie. I can't say if its better than the first one since its been some time since I've seen it. Part one took some time for it to grow on me, so I don't know if that had me better prepared for this one and know how the comedy is. I give it an 8/10, there were a couple of scenes I could of done without that would of made it better if they didn't make it into the final cut. There some great moments and I plan on seeing this again since the entire theater was in laughter, and I know I missed out on some jokes I couldn't hear cause of how loud the people were laughing. Spoiler Some of my favorite scenes: Ron eating at Champs fast food place. Smoking crack during a live broadcast. In the end when Ron is trying to make it to his son's piano recital and runs into the other news crew. I was expecting this to happen, and I felt like they really delivered on it. Favorite scene of entire movie. Least memorable scene: Dinner scene with Linda's family. I could see how this could of been really funny, but it missed the mark in my opinion. I felt more uncomfortable during the scene, but that could be me.
The first one took a couple viewings for me also. I'm not going in to this one with big expectations and I've avoided the previews so all the jokes will be fresh. With that in mind, I may actually have to go to the movie theater to see it before it gets ruined by friends.
I loved the first one, so I had pretty high expectations, but overall i think it was solid, there were some good bits but it slightly underwhelming for me, pretty much what you'd expect though. Ending was rediculous though LOL
Viewed it Saturday evening. My expectations were way too high I guess. The theater was packed, everyone was laughing, but towards the end it got pretty stale up until the last scene. I might go see it once more but I thoroughly enjoyed American Hustle much more.
I'm a huge fan, he's one of my all time favorite comedic actors. Seen everything he's been in, even the bad ones, and I will see anchorman 2 eventually. I just can't make it through very much of all this promotional, fake sportscenter crap, commercials, etc. It's just bad.
