That sounds bad for the rockets, I do not think so.

I think Boston wants to keep their pick because they want to flip Asik. It doesn't make sense to try and field a winning team and fight for a pick that's going to be worse. They can flip asik for another pick and/or younger talent, becoming a worse team, and get a high pick too.

We should remind Carl not to get too emotionally invested for or against our players.

Because Morey does not think the way Carl does.

How many of CH's fave players has Morey traded away? CBud? PPat? Who else?

No 3rd Team??? We need to get Spencer Hawes from sixers-
We need a stretch 4 that can shoot 3's? Were not even getting that..

    I agree with you.

If the Celtics deal goes down, then we are really banking on Morey's ability to spin that #1 pick to another team in a trade. Lee and Bass are "nice" to have at the end of the bench, but they are replaceable. Also, I cannot believe we will deal Asik without a back up center coming in a seperate trade.

You had a chance but choose to continue to be despicable. I won't reply or unhide any of your posts from now on.

and my point is, an improving dwight, parsons, harden, with PF spot of bass and TJones, is also, REALLY REALLY REALLY good.

morey has to build this team to take advantage of present moments.. now that you have two stars, parsons (also a star), you don't mortgage the present for a potential future that may or may not happen.

Jones is still on the team and is a stretch 4. Bass has a great mid-range game (however that does against the Rockets' philosophy).

Let's see Bass start heavily training his 3pt shot now.

I'm more worried that we would be missing out on a more favorable trade opportunity involving Asik between now and the deadline. A lot can change in that time.

i'm with CH, this proposed trade does not upgrade our talent or leave any future flexibility. on the contrary, it leaves with dead weight contracts going forward. ughh

Bass and Lee plus a future 1st ounder and not 2014?. that's terrible.Morey not going to do such a bad deal. Atleast I pray he dosent.

gummy bear smith. its not the best scenario, but he can hold it down for 15-20 mins a night. our frontcourt is tenacious with dwight, tjones, bass.

I you're right! morey has to get something good back in return with the pick, I believe he will, because if it's just Howard & bass as this teams upgrade going into the playoffs.

I would've rather have had iguodala, milsapp, asik any day! handles way more of our needs from last year.

My opinion y'all don't have to agree.
