Yeah, Lee has one year too many on his deal. Bass's 2 year deal fits with what we are doing. Same as Millsap's deal.

and eventually Morey got them

 

wtf is this, gtfo. every time a team is getting serious some ******* comes along and makes them sound uninterested in trading for Asik.

 

As expected. Everyone here bracing for a deal today is going to be disappointed. Morey is going to drag this out as long as possible.

If we get Brandon Bass, we better be re-routing him to another team. Lee + 1st round pick is good, depending on what the protection is.

 

From what I've heard (Hawes, Young, McCollum/Lopez, Bass/Lee, Shumpert) I'm really praying for Millsap at this point.

 

I hope Morey continues to hold out. Extract the most value.

 

The thought of Brandon Bass alone makes me vomit.

 

he's undersized. his shooting and rebounding have actually declined. He's a big that doesn't shoot 3's, but is shooting 46% from the field (NOT GOOD). he'll give you about 11 and 6 every night.

He is a very good defender, so i think that's his real value.

...but i would probably be bummed if the deal ended up being Bass and a 1st rounder (unless the 1st rounder was lotto)

 

It's not protected but the Hawks have the ability to swap picks with Brooklyn in 2014 and 2015 so you'd get the Hawks pick(if the Hawks finish with a better record than Brooklyn.)

 

I think his rebounding numbers are a little inflated bc he never played with anyone above 6'5...or so it seems. He moves like an oaf...he's completely useless on the offensive side. Defensively, he is very good...but he's also not really a game changer, averaging only like a block a game.

Again, he's a good rebounder...but he's unathletic, he has terrible hands, and he's slighty uncoordinated.

For his contract, he is good...but he is owed 15 million next season. He's not worth that much, even though his cap hit would be a little over 8.

He can be a physical player but he's only 6'8 at best. I'd start T Jones over him and I may even prefer Casspi off the bench the way he's been playing. Just doesn't seem like a good move to me
