Package in brewer so we get Lee too. We can easily trade him later for late picks if we need to clear up space.

I don't think Rockets will take anyone with a contract in 2015/2016

The Bass, Lee, and 1st rounder seems meh on the surface, but I think it's actually a really good haul.

Like Ive stated, Asik is very overrated here. Bass is a good PF...his PER is above average and he shoots 85% from the FT line, which is a nice addition to our crappy FT%.

Lee helps out the biggest weakness of our team...defending the wing and 3 pt line.

The first round pick is always nice...as Morey can work magic with those.

That's....... disappointing, I'd REALLY like Hawes. Young just seems like a slightly better T Jones.

Umm, guys? Brandon Bass is only 6'8, which is pretty small for a backup Center. And I also believe his contract extends until 2015-2016. Not sure that's who Morey would want....

i just don't get the fascination with Bass. I really don't think he's anything special at all. And as for Lee, his perimeter D would fill a huge need, and be one of the more valuable things coming back in that trade; so i hope Lee would be Houston-bound in that scenario. obviously i think the more picks the better.

This wouldn't be a horrible trade, but i'm just not a fan of Bass. Of course i haven't looked at Lee's contract, so if it limits our cap space for several more years, i don't see how he goes to Houston.

I wouldn't mind Courtney Lee at all, I loved him when he was a Rocket

Lee makes Beverley expendable IMO because Lee can guard 2 positions and is way better than Bev Offensively

Lee hurts cap flexibility two more years on his deal.

Lee would be a solid addition. I'd hope he takes over Cisco's minutes

    Good 3 and D player
    Is good friends with Dwight
Can play the run and gun style
Can defend some of the bigger PG's if need be

All you have to look at is Asik's game logs from last season. He isn't overrated and a bargain at 8.4 over 3 years.

I don't think Morey will do the clee, bass, 1st rd deal unless if the first rd pick is barely protected. I also think CLee will be a Rocket after his contract expires as well (not that we should wait it out).
