    I just can't imagine Morey sending Asik to Portland. Why help a team in the same conference win more games.

    So trading a guy averaging 4 and 7 for a guy averaging 15 and 9 and a pick and you'd want him fired? You guys are way overvaluing Asik it's not even funny.

    Hawes would be a significant insurance when Howard goes to the bench for a breather or foul trouble. Right now, we are getting less than zero from whoever is playing backup 5.

    Where is the perspective? Narrow minded analysis at best...

    Asik averaged 4 and 7 while coming off the bench in a disgruntled manner and playing limited minutes

    Last season, he was a double double machine with elite defense playing a shade under 30 minutes.

    Asik is definitely more valuable than Hawes.

    That should say wealthy people are still human. Constantly changing cities and teams can't be easy for him even if he does have some money.

    What worries me the most is the possibility of Hinkie flipping Asik at the Feb. deadline to a contender in the West.. Which I think he will do.
    Either Portland, OKC, Dallas are all possible suitors that would hurt us badly.
    That's why I'd love to see Asik in Charlotte or Cleveland.
