Without the 2nd and 3rd options from any title team, (insert player) name has ZERO rings. Actually, Jordan and Kobe have never even escaped round 1 without another star player on the roster. When has another wing player won a title with their 2nd and 3rd options ACTUALLY PLAYING at the level Wade and Bosh played at last postseason? Let me know when you feel like discussing how guys actually played, as opposed to their rep.
check the wades nba finals again sir..you must be one of those fans that watch one game and attribute a whole season to that one game where it game as good as the monster games he had. pathetic
I watched his Finals and all of the playoff games leading up to it. Let me know when you want to compare how Wade played last postseason to how the 2nd options for other title winning wings played.
Calling Wade garbage when he came up big for the Heat during times that they needed it the most. Now I laugh at that. There is no ring without Wade
Wade in the Finals. 20, 4, 5 on 48% shooting. Held under 18 points in 4 of 7 games, ie the majority. REAL SUPERSTAR PLAY!!!
let me know when you actually realize what Wade put up and did in the finals then I can believe you know something about the game
Without teammates, every player has ZERO rings. In the 2013 Finals: Heat were -54 with Wade on the floor.
No one said Wade was garbage. He played poorly for most of the postseason due to an injury and I can highlight many 2nd options on teams that played better. There wouldn't be rings without those guys, that played better than Wade, either. So if you want to discuss how guys actually played and compare we can do that. Or you can continue to roll your eyes and note how great Wade was. Some of us actually watched the games though. Do you have a link to that article you posted about the rule changes? I would like to share it.
Fair point. But Lebron has 3rd & 4th options that have been the 1st options on they're previous teams. Ray Allen might be the greatest shooter of all time and he's coming off the bench as a 4th option. Miami's the most STACKED team within the last 20 years lol. Compare them to any of Kobe's supporting cast (even WITH Shaq) and it's still no comparison. Lebron has the most "help" I've seen in a long time
No. Kobe was the playmaker & closer on those teams. As a dominant as Shaq was, he's never had the ball in the clutch. They were each others supporting cast
By that logic, wouldn't the 2004 Lakers be the most stacked team (Shaq/Kobe/Karl Malone/Gary Payton) in the past 20 years? For all of Kobe's titles, he's had the strongest frontcourt in the league. That's more help than Lebron has had.
It's pretty clear that Kobe was part of Shaq's supporting cast (even by his own admission). Don't forget that Shaq won an MVP. You can't win an MVP and be considered the supporting cast for one of your teammates.
They were CLEARLY past their primes. Malone retired the next season and Payton played only a few more. Nice try, but no close. So 1 HOF front court player makes up for 3 HOF players now Bosh averaged 24pts & 10 rebounds before coming to Miami. Wade averaged 26pts & 6 assist BEFORE Lebron got there. These guys were already established superstars before Lebron. Ray Allen is arguably the best shooter of all time. All of them can single handedly take games over in stretches. Your arguments holds no weight here. Lebron has the most "help" of any player in the 20 years. That "Decision" will forever taint his legacy
LeBron scored 18, 17, 15, 33, 25, 32 and 37 points. He was not held under 18 points in 4 of the 7 games, like Wade was (17, 10, 16, 32, 25, 14, 23). It means you are overrating Wade's performance.
