Thoughts on all the little nagging injuries the Rockets are suffering.....Do you guys think their style of play lends itself to injuries such as these?

the style of play if anything has slowed down from last year, i think we're just getting unlucky.

Back issues take a while before they go away. Parsons and Lin will need to be managed carefully.

I was gonna make a thread about Harden but I think this post fits here.

Why does Harden wear low tops? Besides Clyde, I can't recall many wing players at all that didn't or don't wear high tops. He needs ankle support. I don't get it.

Totally agree, escpecially with the fact he goes to the rim with reckless abandon so much i think it would help out. He needs to keep all these nagging injuries at bay because they will start adding up.

It is Morey's fault for drinking Jobu's rum.

You're right. I guess they prefer the lighter shoe but something has to change bc Harden is on his way to being Curry 2.0 aka Glass Ankles.

Not really unless 22 years is new...dont let the join date fool you. I do obviously realize the franchise injury history...but this is a brand new team so that means brand new players which meaaaannnnnsssss.................brand new history. I dont believe in all this cursed nonsense lol In conclusion, try this thing called optimism, it's pretty good stuff even though it seems like my fellow Rockets fans have never heard of it

It's always the new guys in the league that don't wear them. Low tops are lighter and with more ankle movement, you can make cuts at angles that you can't do with high tops.

Once they get a couple of bad ankle sprains, they'll learn that it's not worth it and switch to high tops.

Yes, until Howard can step up playing like a star.

The expectation is unreasonably high but Rockets actually do not have the personnels to go for it.

Dwight has stepped his game up considerably the two weeks or so...but dont really see the correlation between injuries and Dwight's play. Maybe allowing players to sit??

SMH. It's the freakin' NBA. Guys get hurt. They twist ankles. They come in contact with germs. Not sure why people expect this team to be injury free over a 82 game season. Unless issues are clearly chronic, it's nothing to complain about.

Iggy, Bron, wade, parker, westbrook, blake, nash, kobe, rose, granger, barnes, farmar, miller, conley, neal, butler delfino, martin, evans, stoudemire, prigioni, martin, ...should i go on?

I wish we could take a few games off. I'd hate to have Harden get run into the ground and be unavailable in the playoffs. He's our franchise player, and it would be terrible to cause future health problems over a few regular season games.
