In what way? You said as a starter his teams have been average. And I said as a starter Kevin Love's teams have sucked.

And you said Paul Millsap doesn't step up, but he managed to average a double double with a good amount of blocks in a sweep, and did very very well his prior time in the playoffs.

Dealing in bad faith is a sure way to get blacklisted in a community of 30. Wouldn't happen.

A real GM would aim to make his team better in the short and long term, and not worry about what others teams are doing. If the deal helps your organization out the way you see fit, you careless about what its going to do for the next man. Same scenario could be seen in a big company, you know you bosses make big bucks, but if you feel you are being taken care of and your wants and needs are being fulfilled you could careless about the person next to you or above you.

Man Deng is one of the best perimeter defenders in the nba. Not only that, he is as versatile they come on offense. He can step out and hit the perimeter shot, but he is a pretty good post player as well. The guy is a top 5 sf. Deng is better then millsap.

Deng's 3 pt shot has been inconsistent his whole career. It's been mainly regressing the last few years though, down to 27.8%.

His last few games has been very good after coming from his injury.Deng is one of the most complete small forwards in the league.

I guess if they want Jeff Green, this gives Ainge the opportunity to return the favor to McHale for giving them Garnett. Although I don't like Green's contract because it lacks flexibility, and his play is inconsistent, he is a player that can win a playoff game or two on his own. Remember? Variance?

    Looks like we are landing..

    Jeff Green - Celtics
Thad Young or Hawes - Philly
    Milsap - Hawks
Verajao - Cleveland (maybe w/ picks)

Looks like Hawes is the best fit w/ Milsap in 2nd.

These just arnt morey moves, he has continually stated that the two best contract types In this cba is rookie and max, these guys all fall into the same concept as the mid range shot.

I'm not buying any of these guys straight up

Millsap to me seems like the best choice still. The media can bring up all the names they want, yet the best choice has and continues to be Millsap.

Agreed, I have a feeling that we will be getting picks in return and fillers (expiring/non guaranteed) contacts. And then when the trade deadline comes along we will be major players again then.

Why? Hawes makes all the sense in the world in every single way. IF its not draft picks, that should be the first player pick for any rational Rockets fan, with Milsap a close second.

I said it before, Morey sees the real prize as a clean salary cap to be in the running for a star. He won't pickup a multi year deal to ruin this strategy

He gives us a expiring contract and we will most likely get some picks be it second rounders, but it will be handy in future packages. This is another reason why the bulls Deng rummor made sense because of his contract and being a great asset in February, but we need yo send them more then Lin to get Deng
