Lord thank you. The DH12 rumors/tweets/updates thread worked out relatively well but this is a train wreck.

I'll try to restrain. I think what makes it tough is relative to the Howard Saga, we arent getting ANY info. We all know the deadline, but there hasn't been anything substantial from the media, insiders, etc. for some time now.

In some respects, this makes me think that it IS some deal involving the 76ers, assuming Hinkie has adopted the same "no leaks" policy as Morey.

 

Regression toward the mean happens all too often in this forum. For any given topic, evidence shows that it will regress to a LOF vs LOH debate or random trade ideas.

Chandler Parsons is not a playmaker. Guy looks terrible handling the ball upcourt. It's embarassing to him when McHale puts him in that role.

I don't know about that...I don't get to see every game, but the ones that I've seen I think he excels pushing the ball up court. He's a good finisher, and willing passer, and doesn't turn it over too much (relative to the rest of the team, anyway).

Most deals have been quiet before with Morey so it doesn't necessarily mean that the 76er's are the only team Morey can keep quiet-

Past WTF trades-

-Harden trade - During a preseason where it was implied the Rockets were tanking, Morey trolls everyone in the state of Oklahoma by trading for Harden during the OU football game when they were losing.. and the trade was a few days before the deadline for extending Harden.
-You just traded your long time starting PG for Kyle Lowry??... a backup on a bad team at the time who nobody has heard of??
-Someone actually traded for Trevor Ariza??... and we got a decent player for him???

The T-Mac expiring auction was probably the most notorious WTF Morey trade moment. It was widely reported that either the trade would be with the Wizards (Butler & Haywood) or the Sixers (Dalembert & Iggy I think), and then out of the blue the Knicks and Kings pop up out of nowhere literally minutes before the 3PM deadline.

I'm prepared to be shaking my head and saying ... "He traded him for what... " tomorrow or Thursday because there are literally no trades he's made where there hasn't been something out of the blue done that nobody saw coming. The speculation is about as entertaining as it gets with Morey trades because even in this day and age with the BimaThug education sessions and the readily available NBA trade machine, we are all prepared to get mind-F-ed in 48 hours.

Sorry, but you are flat wrong. He's no point guard, but he and Tj both have good ball handling skills, especially when considering how damn tall they are.

So, make it different. You guys make this forum what you want. If you want things done right, make a point of not doing wrong...dont resign yourselves to what you think is inevitable and play right along with it. If someone posts a random trade in this thread, dont answer it.

btw....for the millionth time. There is no such thing as a Lin Only Hater. People on here who criticize him are the same people who criticize any other player that they think is screwing up.

Like Morey has repeatedly said, there are always about 20 deals or scenarios they have to go through before the chances of one of them coming to fruition happens.

I'm fairly certain Morey is looking at 10 other trades that have not even been mentioned or brought up

 

I'll have to disagree. I hated the offense last year when CP was initiating the offense at times. Having CP or TJ do it on a long term basis is not a good recipe for success.
